Tyson Fury lost a £100,000 bet despite his brother Tommy Fury beating rival Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia.
The undefeated heavyweight champion previously revealed that he had staked £100,000 after being impressed by Tommy’s performances in the match leading up to the highly anticipated grudge match.
However, Tyson rooted for Tommy to beat the YouTuber before the final bell, and he didn’t.
Speaking before the crash, he said iFL TV, Jake will be surprised with his brother’s punching power. “Tommy knocks out 90 percent of the people he trains with or at least drops them, so he’s a very heavy puncher and Jake Paul will find out tomorrow.
‘I’ve got 100 racks on him for an inside-distance stoppage, so if he loses I’ll lose 100 bags too. I have it at 3/1.

‘I know Tommy is going to knock him out. What’s kind of stupid is that I see all these pundits and professional fighters picking Jake Paul over Tommy.
‘I’m like, ‘What the hell are these guys watching?’, because Tommy is absolutely going to fool him.
‘I think Tommy can get him out of there anytime.
‘It will definitely be in the distance and it won’t be a points job for sure. Tommy wins by knockout.
Tommy was the legitimate winner in the end, with the judges scoring the fight 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 in his favor, but with a points deduction and a knockdown against his name, it was far from straightforward.
The fight between the British former Love Island contestant and an American who found fame via YouTube was the result of more than two years of social media warfare that culminated in a showdown only the third time it was asked.
Tommy had to pull out of both previously staged contests and was bombarded with claims that he was afraid to fight the seemingly less decorated boxer in Jake.
The 23-year-old has always maintained that he had to pull out of his dates with Jake for legitimate injuries and visa-related reasons. Not surprisingly, after finally being able to prove himself right, the Mancunian was moved to tears when the victor was announced to him.
In the fight, TNT appeared as the most elegant and composed fighter from the first round. He had a clear style that relied on his left jab which Paul really struggled to develop.
Jake has power and that seemed to get Tommy’s respect. The first two rounds were pretty easy for Tommy as he pounded his way out of Jake’s sweet spot.
Jake was unable to land his overhand but in the third round he enjoyed more success when he stopped trying to knock out Tommy as promised and tried to box him instead.
In the fifth round, Jake was deducted a point for hitting Tommy in the back of the head. Trailing 3-1 on most scorecards, the YouTube star needed nothing less than a knockout from then on.
Jake rarely had the drive to fight. He simply wanted to land his favorite right hand and Tommy showed enough skill to negate that threat, though his bloody nose showed that not all of Jake’s efforts were in vain.
In round six, the referee took a point off Tommy for holding, giving Jakehope within arm’s reach once more. That gave Jake another lease on life, but Tommy still had a lot more class in general exchanges.
Paul was devastated after the fight, blaming both illness and an arm injury for the loss.
Fury was in tears after being proven right in his biggest fight yet against the 26-year-old.
Despite two years of animosity, Paul and Fury had a lot of respect for each other at the end of the contest.
Both fighters have said they would be open to a rematch after an exciting fight on Sunday night.
The final round is where the controversy came and if the script from before was fake, it wasn’t bad if someone conjured up a new one.
Tommy was dropped in the opening seconds of the final round, but the Brit insisted he slipped and only put one hand on the canvas. Replays show that he had lost his balance with his lead leg, but it was at the same time that Jake landed a flush jab.
At the end of the contest, Tommy raised his hand and it didn’t look like Jake was going to dispute that too much. The pair shared another enjoyable moment there as Tommy shed tears after winning. What a reflection of how far Jake has come!
The stars came out to watch the fight that had been over two years in the making. Tyson was rooting for his brother, of course, but his old foe Deontay Wilder also made the trip and was joined by heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo and Hollywood star Kevin Hart.
