Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk has hit out at Tyson Fury after their undisputed world heavyweight title fight was postponed.

Usyk and Fury had agreed terms to fight in Riyadh on December 23, with the Gypsy King claiming he would sue the Ukrainian if their fight was further delayed.

However, following his thrilling bout with Francis Ngannou, which Fury won via split decision, his promoter Frank Warren confirmed the clash with Usyk would take place early next year instead.

And Krassyuk, in conversation with Mail Sports new boxing podcast, The Hook, responded to Fury’s behavior that has delayed his showdown with Usyk.

“In terms of that Tyson Fury fight,” he said. “Listen, we are kind with a heart full of love and call Tyson Fury a random thought generator.

His criticism comes after Fury’s showdown with Usyk was postponed from December 23

“So that was one of his random thoughts before the fight and probably the other one after the fight. You can’t match it.’

Krassyuk went on to slam Fury’s disappointing performance against Ngannou – when many felt the former MMA star deserved to win – while also insisting Usyk would show no fear if they did eventually face off.

He added, “Can you imagine (if he lost the fight)? Usyk (was ringside) and was sweating the entire fight because there was a chance Tyson would lose.

“If he lost, who would watch this (Fury-Usyk) fight? This fight (with Ngannou) didn’t seem to be a huge success in the US. A few hours ago I saw the reports of the US pay-per-views.

“So this was the fight that didn’t get as much attention. But I think it will be completely different when he fights Usyk.

“Usyk has always had confidence in what he does. Otherwise there is no room for him in boxing.

“I mean, he became the undisputed cruiserweight and he entered the undisputed heavyweight race.

“And well, there he is now and he only has one leash left.”

Krassyuk also had success during Fury’s in-ring performance against Francis Ngannou last month
