Tyson Fury’s opponent for a December 3 fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be confirmed tomorrow.
Think Derek Chisora.
Not Anthony Joshua. Not Joe Joyce. Not Daniel Dubois. Not yet Oleksandr Usyk.
But that battle to crown the first undisputed world heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis is slated for February or March and Chisora, 38, as a tick-over opponent for the Gypsy King is most likely not going to throw a spanner in the works.

Fury has already talked about becoming “the first heavyweight champion to fight two trilogies.”
This one can hardly be as memorable as the first one against Deontay Wilder, but it will make a small notch in history.
Fury has already beaten Chisora twice and the veteran is in the final stages of his career. But he qualifies as a world title challenger by holding on to 14th in the WBC heavyweight rankings, one above the mark.
Fury is a natural showman and that gift should draw a large enough audience to Tottenham and excite a respectable TV audience on BT Sport.
