Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill made an incredible confession about his 60-yard touchdown in the first half of Miami's 45-15 blowout of the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

Nine minutes into the second period, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sent the ball over the Commanders defense before Hill caught it near the 20-yard line.

After the game, Grant Paulsen, a writer for The Athletic and reporter for NBC Sports, posted the play, calling it “one of the coolest plays” he's ever seen. Paulsen also said he “can't emphasize how bad this throw was and how great this play by Hill is,” prompting a response from Hill.

'Badly taken' Hill said on X, formerly Twitter. “I ran my route wrong and Tua threw the ball exactly where I needed to be.”

“He noticed my corner was putting in enough air time to give me time to adjust,” Hill continued to praise his quarterback.

Hill visibly looked over his shoulders and adjusted his run to catch the ball for the touchdown. Hill appeared to be running on a straight line, parallel to the path of the ball, before the look caused him to turn straight towards the catch.

Hill finished the game with five receptions for 157 yards and two touchdowns as the Dolphins rolled over the Commanders.

With his incredible speed, Hill currently leads the NFL in rushing yards with 1,481 and rushing touchdowns with 12.

Tagovailoa is also finding great success this season as one of the best facilitators in the NFL. Tagovailoa is third in the NFL in passing yards with 3,457.

The Dolphins have one of the best records in the NFL with a 9-3 lead in the AFC East. Miami has also won their last three games with five remaining in the regular season.

Hill, Tagovailoa and company will look to continue their winning ways against the Tennessee Titans on December 11th.
