Tyreek Hill felt ‘disrespected’ when the Chiefs gave Isiah Pacheco the No. 10 jersey after the WR left Kansas City in 2022 for Miami: ‘I didn’t like that’

Tyreek Hill revealed his grudge against the Kansas City Chiefs when they gave up his jersey number not long after his departure.

Hill, who wore No. 10, was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022. A month later, his old jersey number was assigned to Isaiah Pacheco in the seventh round.

In the latest edition of the Million dollar game In the podcast, Hill stated that while he is a fan of the running back, he still did not appreciate the Chiefs giving away his number.

“Kansas City has a really good running back,” Hill said of Pacheco. ‘He’s an idiot. You hear and see every step he takes. He runs so fast.’

“But I felt disrespected when they gave him ten,” he added. ‘I didn’t like that. There is only one 10 now. There should only be one 10 in your heart.”

Hill played six seasons with the Chiefs before leaving Kansas City in search of better pay

Hill was drafted by the Chiefs in 2016 and played his first six seasons in Kansas City alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. In addition to winning the Super Bowl in 2020, Hill collected 479 catches for 6,630 yards and 67 touchdowns in red and gold.

While admitting that he did not want to leave Kansas City, Hill requested a trade, seeking better pay. His wish came true when he landed in Miami and earned a four-year, $120 million deal to become the highest-earning wide receiver in the NFL.

Since the move, Hill racked up 3,509 yards for 20 touchdowns and two All-Pro honors in two seasons with the Dolphins.

On the other hand, Pacheco became one of the fastest rising stars in Kansas City.

In his first two years, the running back has 2,139 yards from scrimmage and scored 14 touchdowns to help the Chiefs to two Super Bowls.
