The aftermath of Tyreek Hill’s confrontation with Miami-Dade police has taken a bizarre turn after an officer denied ever trying to apologize to the Dolphins star.
During a press conference on Wednesday, the receiver claimed that representatives of the officer responsible for his arrest had contacted him to apologize.
Hill was dragged from his car, pinned to the ground and handcuffed prior to the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“They’ve tried (to apologize), but we’ve declined,” Hill said after bodycam footage of the incident emerged.
“It’s up to everyone’s own judgment what they think of the video.”

But his representatives have now contradicted Hill, insisting: “Neither Officer Torres, nor his legal representatives, attorneys or anyone speaking on his behalf, has had any contact with Mr. Hill, his counsel or his representatives,” they said. Kick out.
Hill called for the officer’s dismissal for what he called “excessive” force against him. But the Dolphins star He admitted that he should have behaved differently.

When asked if he could have cooperated more with police, the 30-year-old said: “I have family members who are police officers. We’ve had conversations. Yes, I will say I could have been better. I could have rolled down my window at that point.
“The thing about me is I don’t want attention. I don’t want cameras coming out, phones pointed at you at that moment.
‘But at the end of the day, I’m only human. I have to follow the rules and do what anyone would do.
“Does that give them the right to literally beat the living daylights out of me? Absolutely not. But ultimately I wish I could go back and do things a little differently.”
