Bournemouth midfielder and USMNT captain Tyler Adams could return to the pitch tomorrow after a lengthy recovery from hamstring surgery.
Adams played for Bournemouth’s development side in a match against Colchester United’s U-21 side this weekend.
“I don’t think we can bring anyone back for the weekend, but although Tyler Adams is not quite ready yet, he played 30 minutes with the development squad this week,” Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola said at a press conference.
‘He feels good in the process, we could put him on the bench because we have room for him.
“Personally it may be a good thing, but he continues his process and still misses more training. But he’s doing well.’

Adams made an appearance for Bournemouth’s development squad last weekend
The USMNT captain is recovering from hamstring surgery he underwent last October
Adams joined the Cherries from Leeds United in the summer but had not played for club or country since March when he arrived.
He appeared to recover sufficiently to return to the squad for a Carabao Cup match against Stoke City at the end of September.
However, after coming on as a substitute and playing for twenty minutes that match, Adams aggravated his injury again and underwent surgery.
Bournemouth play Sheffield United this weekend and play their final game before the March international break against Luton Town on Wednesday.
