Tyla parties with Alessandra Ambrosio, Lila Moss and Ashley Graham as they enjoy a night of indulgence after training for Victoria’s Secret show

The Victoria Secret models turned out for the brand’s glamorous after-party after the iconic catwalk show returned for the first time in five years and was broadcast live from New York on Tuesday evening.

Tyla, who performed on the show, joined the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Lila Moss and Ashley Graham as they headed to the bash at the Crane Club to celebrate the show’s big return.

The models are known to have had to train for months ahead of the show, work with personal trainers and follow a healthy diet to ensure they look their best for the occasion.

But the cohort of genetically blessed stars enjoyed a night of pampering after their show, as they headed to the afterparty to let loose following the show’s return.

Tyla, 22, who performed her smash hit Water and PUSH 2 START, looked just like one of the Victoria Secret models as she stepped out at the party in a white lingerie-inspired ensemble.

Tyla performed in a set of VS’ signature wings and a stunning bodysuit, but she stuck with the theme later in the evening by stepping out in her underwear, teaming it with a colorful fur jacket and heels.

The singer looked ready to party as she kicked her leg in the air and stepped out of the car that brought her to the club with a group of models.

Meanwhile, Alessandra, who first walked the show in 2000, looked better than ever as she attended the party in an equally skimpy look, including a sheer dress that showed off her bra and thong.

Alessandra, 43, added a fur stole to her look and a pair of strappy heels, while she wore her accentuated locks down and opted for a glamorous layer of makeup with diamond earrings.

Lila Moss made sure she showed her mum how it’s done as she arrived at the party without her supermodel parent, after the pair made their debut on the iconic catwalk earlier in the evening.

Heading to the soon-to-open ultra-luxe Crane Club Restaurant in downtown New York, Lila looked effortlessly chic in a silk white mini dress.

Sporting a flattering neckline and a Chanel beaded belt, the star covered her shoulders with a black blazer and added simple black heels.

But while Lila headed to the party, Kate was nowhere to be seen after posing on the catwalk in a black lingerie set.

Despite expectations for the show, fans praised the return of the new Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after a six-year absence, calling it “boring” and bland.

The evening event also marked the first walk down the Victoria’s Secret catwalk for Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio, the first transgender model to represent the brand in 2019.

Alongside Sampaio, transgender model Alex Consani walked the catwalk as the lingerie brand expanded its efforts to be more inclusive.

It was a far cry from the event’s heyday, when scandalous walks and outfits dominated the fashion world for weeks after appearing on the show – before the company was hit by scandals, including claims of a ‘toxic’ workplace culture.

Victoria’s Secret also saw sales fall, with critics suggesting that moves towards greater ‘inclusivity’ in recent years – including the use of plus-size models – were not catching on.

Cher was the headline performer last night, along with Blackpink alum Lisa and rising star Tyla, making it the show’s first all-female musical lineup.

But there was a backlash on

The lingerie brand was known for its sultry catwalks featuring Cara Delevingne and Miranda Kerr as ‘Angels’.

In the past, models have been seen parading down the catwalk in 3-metre-long wings with white feathers, thongs and basques – yet the new show was seen by many as a letdown.

“Victoria’s Secret came back with the most boring show ever,” said one poster, while another wrote: “The Victoria’s Secret show looks so modern and boring now, I’m disappointed.”

A separate commenter said: ‘Victoria Secret has yet to listen to our public demands. This is not the show we wanted. Everyone has flat hair, no extremely long models, the whole production is different.’

Another commented: ‘Victoria Secret really said go woke, go broke.’

Other comments included: ‘The new Victoria’s Secret fashion show feels so SOULLESS omg… and why are they playing fake cheers from the crowd? where is the iconic runway???’

Another viewer wrote: ‘This was cute, but it wasn’t enough… we need to bring back the glitter track, with more lively performances!

‘What happened to the special sets per look, close up of the looks, backstage chaos, let’s go back to our roots #VSFashionShow2024! The recording was okay, but I think…

“The OGs were chewing on the new girls a lot, we were suddenly missing out on who was new [Angels]who were the old ones, why should we fall in love with them?.. etc. Lots of haute couture running without personality this is #VSFashionShow2024 where are the smiles, kisses and waves?!”
