Two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, have been arrested and charged in the stabbing death of a 20-year-old man on Friday.
The two teens are charged with the murder of Aiden Rhys Bower-Miles, who was stabbed to death in a morning fight that broke out between two groups on Fermont Drive, Underwood, in the city of Logan, shortly after 1 a.m. Friday. .
Detective Superintendent Brendan Smith said Bower-Miles died as a result of a chance encounter and believed the violent end to his life was not related to any gang activity.

“There was a bit of a conflict, verbal conflict … (which) escalated into a physical altercation,” Superintendent Smith said.
‘Just a conflict… who’s the tougher group.’
He described the presence of knives during the altercation as “absolute rubbish, really.”

Bower-Miles is understood to have started walking to a friend’s house 100 meters down the road after the groups dispersed when he collapsed in the street.
Both teens were denied bail.

When emergency teams arrived at the scene they found the man unconscious.
Police and emergency services tried to help Bower-Miles, but he died at the scene.
‘It was quite tragic; he is very young,’ Superintendent Smith said.

Two vehicles were towed from the scene, including the deceased’s vehicle and a second, which contained blood.
The business owner, Abbos Ahmedov, told the Courier Mail that he did not believe the area was safe to raise children due to the volume of crime in the area.
