Beloved Pomeranians Coco and Candy are run over by two staffers after being left with a pet sitter while their owner traveled to Qatar for the World Cup – and the owner of the killer dog LAUGHED

  • Two Pomeranians were allegedly torn apart by two American Staffies on Friday
  • Mrs. Mobin had taken her dogs Candy and Coco to a dog sitter in Melbourne
  • She was attending the FIFA World Cup in Qatar when her dogs were killed
  • The pet sitter called her and claimed her dogs had been mauled by the two Staffies
  • The dogs’ owner flew straight back to Melbourne to resolve the situation
  • The neighbor who housed the Staffies allegedly assaulted Mrs. Mobin

Two Pomeranians have been bitten to death in a backyard after two Staffies reportedly chewed through a fence, sending the dogs’ traumatized owner home from abroad a final blow.

Candy and Coco were cared for at a home in northern Melbourne last Friday while their owner, Ms Mobin, was in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup.

It is clear that two American Staffordshire Terriers from next door chewed a hole through the wooden fence and attacked the two four-legged friends while the pet sitter was out shopping.

Ms Mobin, who immediately took a flight home, said the neighbor who allegedly housed the vicious dogs laughed at her when she confronted him.

The distraught owner told Daily Mail Australia that her family has been housebound since the tragedy, crying and taking sleeping tablets to get through.

She said her 19-year-old daughter, who had the dogs in bed with her at night, was “shocked.”

“She doesn’t eat, she doesn’t go to college, she doesn’t do anything, she just has panic attacks,” she said.

“I took her to the hospital and she takes a lot of sleeping tablets to calm her down, she cries and cries every day.”

Mrs. Mobin had dropped off her beloved four-legged friends at Epping’s house on 19 November before she left for overseas.

She said she had used the dog sitter a few times before, but they had been taken care of in a different house.

The pet sitter regularly sent Ms. Mobin updates on how the four-legged friends were doing while she was in Qatar, but called her in a panic on Friday.

“She was crying and saying ‘we have a problem’,” Ms Mobin said Nine News.

The horrified owner was told the dogs had been attacked while in the back yard – and one of them was missing.

Coco couldn’t be saved after being taken to the vet and the other dog, Candy, was nowhere to be seen.

The sitter went next door to ask about the dog, but was rebuffed and not allowed in to look for her.

Ms Mobin took a 13-hour flight to Melbourne the next day and said the whole family was ‘shocked and traumatised’.

Friends of Mrs. Mobin approached the neighbor but were reportedly denied entry to look for Candy.

Victoria police went to the property on Saturday and found Candy’s body in the man’s backyard.

After landing in Melbourne, Ms. Mobin went to the vet hospital to say goodbye to her beloved pets before heading to the neighbour’s house.

She said the man allegedly abused and laughed at her when she approached him, adding the dogs posed a threat to the community.

“My Coco was cut from the neck, it was like a knife,” she said.

A spokesman for Whittlesea Council said the incident is under investigation.

It is not known whether the dogs from the alleged attack have been seized.

The council was contacted by Daily Mail Australia for comment.
