Two people are dead and at least 15 injured after a wild unlicensed street party in Michigan promoted on social media turned deadly Saturday night.
A 51-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, whose identities are still unknown, were killed.
The shooting occurred when a fight broke out around midnight Saturday in Saginaw, about 100 miles northwest of Detroit, state police said.
Police initially said there were about 200 people near the party and officers had dispersed the crowd prior to the shooting. MLive.com reported.
Three people were also hit by cars and injured as people quickly fled the gunfire. WNEM TV reported.

The initial shooting led to others firing back at the crowd in response, the state said in a press release.
In addition to the shots fired, authorities said some were hit by cars trying to get away.
Three people were eventually hit by a car and 12 were injured by gunfire.
The police closed the roads around the street where the party took place.
State police said just over 300 people attended the party.
The party was promoted on social media, but according to police, no one had been given a permit to hold it.
A participant claimed on Facebook then that this had been a peaceful gathering until a shooting broke out.

‘Tthis was a Saginaw celebration for everyone,” said Tami Haley, who offered prayers for several family members injured in the fight.
“If this was your plan to hurt and destroy because of your own unfortunate problems, may GOD put all the hurt and pain you have caused upon YOU!”
No arrests have been made and police are still investigating.
All 15 victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The medical condition of the survivors is not yet known.
Crews from the Saginaw Police Department, Michigan State Troopers, local forensics and state aviation remain on scene.
