Two murder suspects are on the loose after daring jail break – as cops reveal crucial telltale sign that could give away ‘armed and dangerous’ fugitives
Two murder suspects are free after making a daring escape from a Mississippi prison.
Tyrekennel Collins, 24, and Dezarrious Johnson, 18, escaped from the Claiborne County Detention Center around 2 a.m. Friday.
They climbed through a panel in the ceiling of the common area and used bedding to get down through a window.
Police say a key sign could point to one of the suspects fleeing, as Johnson injured his leg during the flight and now walks with a limp.

The escape took place at approximately 2:20 am.
Chief Deputy Christy Sykes said they did not have any weapons on them, but that they should both be considered dangerous.

There is currently a manhunt for them and US police have contacted their families. Both men are currently facing charges for their escape.
Collins was charged with the murder of his cousin in Copiah County.
Johnson is charged in Jefferson County with murder and aggravated assault, and he was indicted for killing one person and wounding two others in October 2022.
His trial is expected to begin on October 15.
Deputy Chief Constable Sykes admitted that this is not the first time prisoners have escaped in this way.
“It is a problem,” she said. “We are working closely with the board of trustees to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
