A childcare center employee recalled the incident to Fox News and said their facility was locked down – a day after they practiced a lockdown exercise.

“When we heard a shutdown on the intercom, we weren’t sure if it was just another drill,” said Elizabeth Newman. “But then we heard police cars outside and we knew it was real.

“So I barricaded the door, we all went to the bathroom.”

A gun was also stolen, according to Fox.

It is not clear why the men went to daycare.
