Two men and a woman are killed in murder-suicide while gunman’s girlfriend is hospitalized

Two men and a woman have died in a murder-suicide, while the gunman’s girlfriend remains in hospital.

Police were called to the shooting at an apartment complex in Gwinnett County, Georgia at 1 a.m. this morning.

The gunman opened fire at one of the View at Jacks Creek homes on the 2300 block of Country Walk in unincorporated Snellville, shooting two women, a man and himself.

Both men died at the scene, while the women were rushed to the hospital, Gwinnett County police said in a statement.

One woman died from a gunshot wound, while the other – according to police the gunman’s girlfriend – suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

An infant was also in the apartment during the murder-suicide, but was unharmed and safe, police said.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

Police are still investigating what led to the shooting that left three dead.
