A 51-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly exposing two Georgia police officers to potentially poisoned paperwork, causing them to be hospitalized.

Little Gaston Stone was taken into custody and has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault on an officer after allegedly bringing in paperwork laced with a drug-like substance on Feb. 6.

According to the arrest warrant, the substance caused both Smyrna Police Department officers to experience “extreme fatigue, chest pain, chest tightness, dizziness and difficulty breathing.”

Stone reportedly walked into the department’s headquarters, recorded his visit on a tablet and talked about Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.

He then handed some paperwork intended for Police Chief Keith Zgnoc to the victims, according to the warrant.

About five minutes later, two officers reported feeling tired and short of breath and rushed to the hospital.

“The officers seized two pieces of paper and Mr. Stone quickly left the building before walking north on Atlanta Rd.

“About five minutes later, both officers began experiencing shortness of breath and extreme fatigue. They were both transported to hospital, where they remain with persistent complaints.

“The FBI has retained Mr. Stone’s letter for additional investigation,” the order reads.

Stone was arrested the same day and held without bond at the Cobb Jail until his release today.

But this isn’t his first brush with the law.

The suspect was already on 12 months probation for a separate case when he allegedly endangered the officers’ lives.

In October 2023, Stone was placed on probation after pleading guilty to terroristic threats, and in April 2021 he was reported for threatening to blow up a building.

In 2004, Stone was given credit for serving a year in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated assault and battery, suspended for nine years.
