Two children, three and 11, found dead in the home along with their mother, 35, and father, 39, were stabbed to death, police reveal

Two children, aged three and 11, found dead along with their mother and father were stabbed to death, police officers said today, in what was a suspected murder-suicide.
The bodies of Monika Wlodarczyk, 35, and her husband Michal Wlodarczyk were found next to their daughter Maja Wlodarczyk, 11, and son Dawid Wlodarczyk, three, after police broke into their family home Hounslow, West London, on Friday.
Post-mortems on the two children at Great Ormond Street Hospital revealed their causes of death yesterday. Maja was stabbed directly in the heart while Dawid suffered ‘multiple stab wounds’, the Metropolitan Police said today.
Mrs Wlodarczyk’s at Fulham Mortuary found the cause of her death was from ‘multiple sharp force injuries’. Officers gave no further information about her husband’s death other than that he suffered a sharp injury to the neck.
Each death is being treated as part of an ongoing homicide investigation, but no one is currently being sought for the deaths, police said today.

Police forced entry to the upstairs property on Staines Road, Befont, on Friday afternoon, but nothing could be done to save the family. In the picture: Maja and her little brother Dawid
The alarm was raised by little Maja’s school after her friends hadn’t heard from her for four days and family members hadn’t responded to messages.
Police were forced to kick down the door of the house in Staines Road, Bedfont, where they discovered the four bodies. The exact date of death is not yet known.
An opening of the inquest heard how Maja’s school called the police on Friday after she had not attended classes since Monday.
Concerned friends and neighbors of the victims described the “dear” family, who originally came from Poland.
Just days before they died, the mother was playing “very happily” with her two children, neighbors revealed.
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘Specialist detectives continue to investigate the circumstances that led to this tragic incident.

“We continue to support family members during this incredibly difficult time, and we thank the local community for their understanding over the past few days as we investigate on site.
“The situation remains that we are not currently seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.”
Inquiries into the deaths were opened at Coroner’s Court in west London on Tuesday and adjourned with a full hearing to be held at a later date.
The Met’s investigations will continue to be led by homicide detectives in the Specialist Crime Command group.
