Police have identified the three victims — including two children — who died in the Easter Sunday morning domestic violence incident after a shootout between police and the 28-year-old suspect, Lacorvis Tamar Daley, according to Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith.
According to Orlando police, the victims are Carole Fulmore, 69, Damionna Reed, 13, and Cameron Bouie, 7.

Officers responding to the incident arrived at the home — located near Parramore Avenue and Grand Street — around 2:28 a.m. and reported hearing gunshots as soon as they got there, Smith described at a news conference.
“A suspect walked out of the house, walked over to the officers, shot at the officers, the officers returned fire, and the suspect fell,” Smith said. “We arrested the suspect, who later died. We evacuated the house and inside the house we found three people who had been shot. OPD itself transported a young child to the hospital who died on arrival at the hospital. So we have three victims who came out of the house and one suspect we shot.”

The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Daley on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The department said in a statement that Daley was responsible for the murder of the three individuals who were inside the home.
Joanne Capel, a neighbor, told News 6 that one of the victims in the home frantically messaged her asking for help.
“I didn’t get to the phone in time. I looked up, she texted me ‘Call the police, he’s shooting,’ Capel said. “I’m a little upset that even though I called the police, I still couldn’t help her (…) this was the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet.”
District 5 city commissioner Regina Hill told News 6 it was a horrific situation.
“It is heartbreaking to wake up to his horrific news of a family and child being murdered here on Resurrection Sunday, Easter Sunday. It’s unbelievable to think where they would have a family gathering and an Easter egg hunt that I sponsor there in Parramore, and a child losing its life, just a family losing its life,’ she said.
The officers involved wore body cameras during the incident; according to policy, the department plans to release the images within 30 days. The officers were not injured and will be placed on paid administrative leave as per protocol, as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating. The prosecution will also conduct an investigation, as will the Orlando Police Department internally, according to a press release.
