One of Australia’s most popular chocolate bars has had a major facelift – and fans can’t wait to try it
Twix has launched a decadent new chocolate bar in Australia that costs just $2.20. However, it’s only available for a limited time.
All this month, fans can enjoy Twix Wafer Rolls, described by Mars as a “crunchy, creamy and lighter” snack.
The treat consists of two light, crispy wafer rolls covered in soft milk chocolate and filled with the delicious Twix flavour that fans know.
The latest offering can be found in the sweets aisle of all Coles stores and independent retailers across the country.
This is the first new product innovation for the Twix brand this year, following the launch of Snickers Brownie, M&M’S Cookie Dough and Skittles Cloudz.
Bianca Werkmeister, Portfolio Director at Twix, says: ‘While consumers are actively seeking out more permissible treats, taste and texture remain the most important components in satisfying their cravings.
‘Our new Twix Wafer Rolls are a hit on all fronts. They feature the brand’s beloved Twix flavor, combined with the new crispy wafer that delivers a new texture experience while eating. They also have a lighter formula with just 114 calories per serving, allowing consumers to eat more.
“We are extremely proud to bring this product to market and we are curious about the reactions of Twix fans and chocolate lovers.”

In April, blogger Foodie Mumma Ren was excited about the news of the launch and shared an image on Facebook.
“I am so excited for this release! I have been a huge Twix fan my entire life!” she wrote.
One person commented: ‘Oh my god this is going to be so good!’
Another said: ‘I’m here for anything Twix related.’
Earlier this month, Australian candy brand Allen’s launched a surprising new candy and was very pleased with it.
The latest offering can be found in the sweets aisle of all Coles stores and independent retailers nationwide
Customers across the country can now get their hands on Monopoly-inspired lollipops in the iconic Allen’s flavours.
The beloved fruit flavors have been given a makeover to represent the Monopoly tokens, including Strawberry Hotel, Pink Raspberry Dog, Green Apple Car, Zesty Orange Top Hat and Pineapple Duck.
The new offering is available in stores for a limited time only and costs $5 each.
Melanie Chen, Nestlé’s chief marketing officer for confectionery, said: ‘Buying, selling, dreaming and creating is now even more fun.’
