Twiggy looks chic in a black suit as she makes her Cannes Film Festival debut at age 73 as she’s about to unveil a documentary about her life

Twiggy made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday at the age of 73, where she was set to unveil the documentary about her life.

The model – whose real name is Dame Lesley Lawson – looked chic in a black suit and tie as she went up a storm on the photocall.

Showing off her refined sense of style in the smart jacket and matching skinny pants, she added an edge with her dark tones.

Twiggy completed her ensemble with dark lace-up shoes, a white frilly blouse and thin tie as she put on a confident show.

The blonde beauty wore her light locks in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a natural make-up look.

Twiggy is known as a British cultural icon and a prominent model during London’s swinging 1960s.

Metaverse company Hadean has teamed up with film and TV studio Film Soho to create an interactive virtual documentary about the life of iconic British supermodel Twiggy.

Powered by Epic Games, Disguise and AWS, the new partnership leverages metaverse technology to deliver a photorealistic interactive experience to a global live audience of fans while pushing the boundaries of modern filmmaking.

Directed by award-winning actress and filmmaker Sadie Frost, the documentary’s closing scene will be produced live in just 48 hours at the film festival on May 17, using Film Soho’s on-site virtual production stage.

In the scene, Twiggy is immersed in a photo-realistic virtual recreation of London’s Carnaby Street in the 1960s, built in disguise using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.

Additionally, a live virtual experience powered and designed by Hadean uses the same Unreal Engine environment as the documentary, engaging users with interactive elements based on Twiggy’s memories of that time.

Elsewhere, Twiggy’s singing career may never have reached the pinnacle of her modeling days — but that hasn’t stopped her from launching another assault on the charts at age 73.

The star’s recording career peaked with a self-titled album that reached No. 33 in 1976.

Other releases over the decades, including one produced by disco queen Donna Summer, sank without a trace.

But Twiggy is trying again with a new album and has been busy preparing her vocal cords by drinking an infusion of sage leaves.

Chatting on her podcast, Tea With Twiggy, she said, “It’s really good for your throat,” but admits she draws the line at drinking the leftover sludge at the bottom of the cup.
