Controversial television pundit Jason Whitlock has criticized NBC after the network chose to no longer feature Brittany Mahomes following her endorsement of Donald Trump.
The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick made headlines last week after she appeared to support Trump by liking several social media posts and then stayed away from Taylor Swift during the team’s NFL season opener on Thursday night.
While cameras captured Swift’s every move as she cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, there was no airtime at all for Mahomes, despite being the center of attention last season.
Many fans, including Whitlock, took to social media to question the reasons behind NBC’s decision not to air her.
On Friday, he said on his YouTube show: “I find it really interesting, I feel like no one is talking about this. I tweeted halfway through the third quarter, ‘I can’t believe they’re not going to show her at some point.’

Taylor Swift, on the other hand, was a regular face on American TV screens during the clash in week 1
I know for sure [Mike] Tirico and Cris Collinsworth declined to comment on why she was in the news.
“They made her part of the story last year. It’s interesting that she’s now my favorite NFL wife. She’s on Team MAGA. I want to know more about her than Taylor Swift, but I don’t know anything.”
Alongside the video, he captioned it: “Now that she’s on team MAGA, NBC is too scared to show her.”
Brittany and Taylor’s decision to sit in separate VIP suites during the Chiefs’ win over the Baltimore Ravens caused an uproar on Thursday night, with fans wondering if the “best friends” from last season were no longer on good terms.
DailyMail.com has learned the pair remain close and partied together after the match at local cocktail bar Prime Social, after Kelce hired the entire venue out for his friends and family.

Swift is expected to be a regular at Chiefs games again this season, traveling across the country to support her husband and playing the final dates of her sold-out global Eras Tour.
The pop star is not scheduled to play any games until Week 7 of the regular season, meaning she could be in the stands for Chiefs games until Oct. 20.
Next, the reigning Super Bowl champions host the Cincinnati Bengals in Arrowhead, before playing an away game against the Falcons in Atlanta.
From there they travel to LA, where they will host the Saints in early October.
