A young police officer has made a good impression on partygoers after taking over the role of DJ at a beach rave.
Several videos have gone viral showing the uniformed NSW officer getting into the festive spirit over the festive period after police were called to a rave at unguarded Turimetta Beach in Sydney's north.
Surrounded by cheering partygoers dancing in a marque, the young officer put on the headphones as he took over the DJ turntable.
Moments later, he handed back the headphones, thanked the appreciative audience and bid farewell to his adoring new fans by waving his hands in the air.

“Welcome to Australia, where the police come to the DJ decks instead of shutting down the party,” one TikTok video read.
Another reveler who also shared footage added: “To protect and serve the beats. It's a Christmas miracle!'
A third attendee claimed online that police “let the party go on until at least sunrise.”
The footage was viewed thousands of times within hours, with viewers praising the officer for letting loose.
“Police 101. Well done,” one viewer wrote.
One woman added: 'Good to see the police smiling, they're only human.'
Another wrote: 'The handcuffs were definitely not used for arrests after that set.'

The NSW Police TikTok account also sparked a light-hearted response.
“This is sure to go viral,” the department noted.
But some viewers questioned whether police would have been so lenient if the rave had been held elsewhere.
“If this was in western Sydney there would be tear gas lol,” one man joked.
A police spokeswoman said the force was aware of footage of an officer “engaging with the community at an event on the Northern Beaches”.
“Officers patrolling the area were present and did their best to ensure the safety of everyone at the event, a spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia.
