Tucker on Twitter goes live (and rogue): Ex-Fox host debuts his new show on Elon Musk’s platform

Tucker Carlson has launched his long-awaited Twitter show, posting a 10-minute clip full of conspiracy theories, attacks on Ukraine and rants about the ignorance of most Americans.

“At this point, it’s possible that American citizens are the least informed people in the world,” he said.

‘Diversity is our strength; trans women are women; Zelensky is Churchill: it is all self-evidently true. Needs no explanation. And don’t ask questions.’

Carlson began “Episode 1,” as he called it, with a discussion of Ukraine and Tuesday morning’s attack on the dam.

“This morning it looks like someone blew up the Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine,” he said.

Ukraine said Russia committed a deliberate war crime by blowing up the Soviet-era dam that powered a hydroelectric power station. The Kremlin blamed Ukraine, saying it was trying to distract from launching a major counter-offensive. Moscow says it’s faltering.

Carlson sided with Russia, as he often does, arguing that it was not in their interest to destroy the dam.

He said many people thought it was President Vladimir Putin who ordered the dam blown up, adding, “Oh, but that’s where you’re wrong, Mr. and Mrs. Cable News Consumer.”

Tucker Carlson debuted his highly anticipated Twitter show on Tuesday

Carlson pointed out that the dam was on Russian territory, captured in the early days of the war in the spring of 2022, and so it would be like “Putin attacking himself.”

However, damage has focused on Ukrainian land and 1,300 people have been evacuated: 80 settlements are at risk of flooding.

Carlson continued, deep with sarcasm, “We can say with certainty that Zelensky was not involved. He couldn’t have been. Zelensky is too decent for terrorism.’

Carlson said Zelensky was “sweaty and ratty; a comedian turned oligarch’.

He then mockingly remarked that George W. Bush compared Zelensky to Winston Churchill.

“Of all the people in the world, our savvy, dead-eyed Ukrainian friend in the tracksuit is pre-eminently incapable of blowing the dam,” said Carlson.

“He is literally a living saint: a man in whom there is no sin.”

Carlson slammed Lindsey Graham for supporting Ukraine and visiting Zelensky: he said Graham enjoyed the prospect of dead Russians, likening it to a starving man smelling food.

He also attacked Nikki Haley for her support of Zelensky’s war, saying she couldn’t explain why the US should support Ukraine.

Carlson said Americans were served “porridge day after day, in steaming, lumpy portions.”

He added: ‘The average Yak herder in Tajikistan knows who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. It is obvious.

“Does he think some skinny dude in a dress is actually a girl?

‘Come on. That idea would never occur to him. You have to be lied to for several years, at full force, to come to such conclusions.”

He said the media is lying and ignoring the stories that matter – claiming that the money sent to Ukraine was not accounted for, and asking who organized the BLM protests after the killing of George Floyd.

What exactly happened on 9/11? Well, it’s all secret. What happened to Jeffrey Epstein? What about JFK?

“Not only is the media not interested in this: they are actively hostile to anyone who is. In journalism, curiosity is the greatest crime.’

Carlson said a whistleblower testified Monday that “UFOs are real, and so is alien life.”

He continued: “In a normal country, this news would be a bomb: the news of the millennium. But that doesn’t count in this country.’
