Tucker Carlson talks about being an alcoholic and his friendship with Hunter Biden in new biography

Tucker Carlson berated Hunter Biden for “degrading” himself with sex and drugs — and also took a vicious shot at Jill Biden, discussing his own past alcoholism.

And there were barbs for the president himself, with Carlson attacking both Biden’s views and appearance.

Moore spent 1,000 hours interviewing Carlson at his homes in Maine and Florida.

But Carlson had nothing but warm words for Hunter’s ex-wife Kathleen.

He said, “I love Hunter’s wife, Kathleen, I thought she was so impressive. Kathleen always put aside her own interests and duties to be the dutiful daughter-in-law.’

Hunter and Kathleen were married between 1993 and 2017, but separated after she discovered his affairs – including with Hallie, the widow of his late brother Beau.

Hunter married second wife Melissa Cohen in 2019.

Speaking of his own battle with alcoholism, Carlson says he drank, at his worst, four vodkas in the form of two double screwdrivers for breakfast. He said he sympathizes with people battling addiction, but is unimpressed with Hunter’s behavior.

The ex-Fox News host describes becoming sober in August 2002 at the age of 33, just as his wife was due to give birth to their fourth child. He says he found withdrawal very hard – and that he was still troubled by the shakes for quite some time afterwards.

Hunter has battled crack and casual sex issues, with photos and texts found on his laptop showing him taking drugs, having sex, and even showing off his filed teeth while being fitted with crowns.

He is the father of four daughters – Naomi, Finnegan and Maisy by Kathleen. Hunter was also the father of four-year-old Marine Joan Roberts by Arkansas stripper Lunden Roberts.
