Tucker Carlson calls Chris Wallace a “b***** little man” and a “fussy little man”: Wallace left Fox News after 18 years in anger over Carlson’s apology for the January 6 riot

  • Carlson and Trump began talking about Carlson’s former Fox News colleague Chris Wallace, who left Fox in December 2021, angry at Carlson’s January 6 defense.

Tucker Carlson has attacked his former Fox News colleague Chris Wallace, calling him a “b***** little man” and saying he was a poor imitation of his journalist father.

Carlson, who was fired by Fox in April, hosted a show on Twitter on Wednesday to rival Fox’s Republican primary debate: speaking with Donald Trump from Trump’s golf course in New Jersey.

Trump was referring to a 2020 election debate moderated by Chris Wallace for Fox News.

“And this was in front of probably not a friend of yours, Chris Wallace,” Trump said. “He was the moderator.”

Carlson agreed: “No friend.”

Trump continued, “Why does he want to be Mike but doesn’t have the talent? It’s one of them.’

Chris Wallace’s father Mike, who died in 2012 at the age of 93, was a legendary journalist and one of the original correspondents on the CBS news program 60 Minutes. Mike became famous for his decades-long interviews with figures such as Richard Nixon, Malcolm X, Vladimir Putin and Yasser Arafat.

Carlson said Chris was a shadow of his father, calling Chris a “b***** little man.”

Trump joined in the attack.

“He wanted to be his father, but he didn’t have the talent of him. His dad was great,” Trump said.

Carlson interjected, “Pussy little man.”

Trump added, “His dad interviewed me in 60 minutes. It was actually a ten. Can you believe it?’

Carlson laughed and replied, “At least his father had a talent.”

Chris Wallace resigned from Fox News in December 2021, after 18 years with the network, and moved to CNN.

In March 2022, the 75-year-old revealed that his decision was made in part because of Carlson’s depiction of the January 6 uprising attempt as a false flag operation.

Wallace said it made his stay with the network “unsustainable.”

“I used to find it was an environment where I could do my job and feel good about being involved with Fox,” Wallace said in an interview with The New York Times.

“And since November 2020 that just became unsustainable, more and more unsustainable as time went on.”
