Tucker Carlson breathlessly says we are speeding towards a ‘Trump assassination’

Tucker Carlson has made an explosive prediction that former President Donald Trump will be assassinated as the next logical step after his indictments.

The former Fox News host’s dire prediction reinforces Trump’s narrative that he is under fire from corrupt, politically motivated authorities bent on sabotaging his 2024 bid for the White House.

His comment came when prominent Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov described Carlson himself as a “dead man walking,” suggesting that the American establishment would also like to see him disappear.

Speaking to Adam Carolla on the comedian’s YouTube show of the same name, Carlson said, “They sued him three times, and each time his popularity rose.”

“If you start with criticism, then you go to protest, then you go to impeachment, then you go to indictment, and none of these work, what’s next? Draw it out, man! It is clear that we are moving quickly towards murder. No one will say that, but I don’t see how you can’t come to that conclusion.

The former Fox News host’s hysterical prediction bolsters Trump’s narrative that he is under fire from corrupt, politically motivated authorities bent on sabotaging his 2024 White House bid.

Carlson’s comment came as prominent Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov himself described Carlson as a “dead man walking,” suggesting that the same nebulous US authorities would like to see him gone as well.

“They’ve decided — permanent Washington, both sides — have decided there’s something about Trump that’s so threatening to them that they just can’t take it.”

The 54-year-old Fox host-turned-podcaster also claimed that the US government is gearing up to go to war with Russia – a battle he believes Vladimir Putin’s country would win.

Carlson’s comments came after he interviewed the 77-year-old former president on X, formerly known as Twitter, last week.

The former Fox host asked Trump directly if he thought he could be killed given the various investigations he is currently subject to.

“Are you afraid they’re going to try to kill you?” Why wouldn’t they try to kill you? Honestly,’ Carlson asked.

‘They are wild animals; it’s people who are sick,” the former president responded.

Carlson’s comments came after he interviewed the 77-year-old former president on X, formerly known as Twitter, last week.

Their 46-minute conversation coincided with Trump’s eight competitors facing each other in the rival Fox-hosted Republican primary debate in Milwaukee, which was watched by 13 million Americans on cable television.

The debate was seemingly overshadowed by Carlson’s Trump interview, which garnered 238 million views on X.

This isn’t a direct comparison, however, because X calculates the number of views based on users scrolling past the video and they don’t have to watch any of it for the interaction to count as a “view.”

Trump used his platform to criticize Biden’s “skinny legs” in recent beach photos, claiming he doesn’t have the mental capacity to win the White House in 2024.

He also claimed he skipped the first Republican presidential debate so he wouldn’t be “bothered” by rivals he said “shouldn’t even get involved.”

Meanwhile, Russian propagandist Solovyov echoed a similar sentiment with a deadly prophecy for Tucker himself.

The Thursday broadcast of The Evening With Vladimir Solovyov featured several excerpts of Carlson’s hysterical predictions from his interview with Carolla.

Referring to Carlson’s comment that the US is preparing for war with Russia and would lose, Solovyov theatrically regarded him as a “dead man walking.”

‘Who says that? A dead man walks! He sincerely believes that the next step after the impeachment and impeachment statement will be an assassination of Trump,” Solovyov said, according to translations in reports.

“But this man, who is currently the most popular English-language journalist, has signed his own death warrant!”

Solovyov claimed that Carlson’s desire to interview Vladimir Putin is the reason US authorities don’t like him.

“They will not forgive him for striving to interview our president and post the footage on a platform where there is no censorship!” he declared.
