Trump’s unveils plan to start term TWO MONTHS early at star-studded Mar-a-Lago bash with Sly Stallone, ‘first buddy’ Elon Musk and MAGA disruptors preparing to upend DC
Donald Trump hosted a star-studded Mar-a-Lago bash on Thursday night with guests including under-fire Attorney General Matt Gaetz and Rocky Balboa himself, Sylvester Stallone.
The president-elect delivered a speech at the America First Policy Conference, where the stars of the conservative movement gathered in recent days at his posh resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
Stallone introduced Trump as a “mythical character” and said guests were in the presence of the “second George Washington.”
Trump then spoke directly to Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnsonand asked him to pass a bill that would “start my term from November 5” so he could get credit for a stock market boom.
“Things are happening to our country that we haven’t seen happen in years,” he said.
He claimed that migrant caravans are “on their way up, 35,000 people, they’re falling apart, they’re not making the journey.”
Trump said the country needs to tackle inflation, again saying that “the groceries are too high” and telling a story from the campaign trail about a woman who tried to buy three apples and thought they cost that much
In his speech to Johnson, he did note that his new majority temporarily diminished because of the number of members of Congress he nominated to major positions.
“I just love the people in Congress, Mike, I’m sorry!”
The president-elect also delivered some news, announcing that South Dakota Governor Doug Burgum would lead the Department of the Interior.

There was also Robert F. Kennedy, spotted at Mar-a-Lago with wife and actress Cheryl Hines, who has apparently patched things up with the Health and Human Services nominee after rumors of a “digital affair” with journalist Olivia Nuzzi.
Kennedy exchanged pleasantries with attorney general nominee Matt Gaetz and his wife Ginger, who is standing by her husband as he faces resurfaced allegations of sexual misconduct.
Trump congratulated many of the conference attendees, including Kennedy.
“Another great mind and a great guy, and he wants to make people healthy. The Democrats did not treat him well. I think if you like health and people living long, he’s great,” he said of the former presidential candidate.
He also joked again about his new bromance with Elon Musk.
‘I believe in high IQs and his is as high as it gets. What a job he does. He loves this place, I can’t get him out of here! He loves this place,” Trump said.
He also celebrated his total victory, which gives him unchecked power now that Republicans control both houses of Congress.
“I didn’t win it, the people won it,” he said. “The great people of our country have won the popular vote.”
Trump also thanked blockbuster movie star Stallone, who attended and introduced the president.

Kennedy had given Trump’s 2024 election campaign a boost by suspending his independent presidential campaign the day after the Democratic National Convention concluded in August and telling his supporters to support Republicans in key swing states.
Kennedy later embraced Trump even more – telling his supporters in the US to support Trump – arguing they had a vision to “make America whole again.”
“For too long, Americans have been crushed by the food industrial complex and pharmaceutical companies that have engaged in deception, misinformation and disinformation when it comes to public health,” Trump said.
The controversial choice comes just a day after Trump stunned both Democrats and Republicans with his seemingly sudden choice of Matt Gaetz as US attorney general.
Gaetz, who resigned his seat as a Florida congressman hours after Wednesday’s announcement amid a House Ethics Committee investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct, illegal drug use and bribery.
He is a MAGA agitator who has targeted fellow House members of both parties and led the coup against former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and Republican senators have publicly and privately expressed shock over the nomination.
