Trump’s would-be assassin Thomas Crooks’ big sister is revealed to be ‘really friendly’ and ‘hardworking’ as neighbors describe how her ‘scrawny’ brother helped her move in

A neighbor of Katie Crooks, Thomas’ older sister, told how the woman, who works two jobs, moved into the apartment building in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, three years ago with the help of her brother.
Speak with New York Postthe anonymous neighbor said, “I couldn’t tell if the person helping her was a man or a woman.
“A couple days later I asked if it was one of her siblings and she said it was her brother. The one who shot Trump… He was really skinny.”

Crooks was identified by the FBI as the gunman involved in an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally on Saturday. The 20-year-old was shot dead at the scene by a Secret Service sniper
Clearly exhausted, Thomas Crooks’ father, Matthew Crooks, opened the door shortly before 10 a.m. to several members of the FBI who entered the nondescript brick home.
She was also described as a “very friendly” and a “nice girl.”
“I can’t say a bad word about her,” the neighbor added.
Like her brother, Katie is a registered Republican, but her father is a registered Libertarian.
She was also reportedly seen getting out of her red Hyundai Kona on Monday evening and carrying luggage to the Crooks’ home in Bethel Park.
Since Saturday’s assassination attempt, in which Thomas opened fire on former President Trump as he addressed a crowd in Butler, Pennsylvania, Thomas’ family has largely stayed out of the public eye.

On Monday, police officers responded to the Crooks family home in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania
FBI agents knock on doors of neighbors around the shooter’s Bethel Park home Monday as they interview locals
Thomas’ father, Matthew, 53, was seen Monday for the first time since his son was shot dead by a sniper after trying to kill Trump.
He was photographed outside the family’s modest three-bedroom home in Bethel Park when federal investigators visited him earlier this week.
Clearly exhausted, his eyes betraying the tension and trauma of the past few days, Crooks opened the door shortly before 10 a.m. to several FBI members entering the nondescript brick house.
It was only 48 hours ago that the Crooks family’s world was turned upside down by the shocking events of Saturday afternoon.
Matthew, who works as a licensed behavioral therapist specializing in rehabilitation, spoke to CNN shortly after his son was identified. He seemed completely taken aback, trying to make sense of what he had just been told.
Contacted by the network late Saturday night, he said he was still trying to figure out “what the hell is going on,” but said he would “wait until I talk to the police” before talking about his son.
He and the rest of the shooter’s immediate family have not spoken publicly since. Crooks’ mother, Mary Elizabeth, 53, is also a behavioral therapist.
It is believed that Crooks was using an AR-15 that his father had purchased about six months earlier. Both men were believed to be members of the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club in Clairton, Pennsylvania.
FBI agents spoke with the Crooks family for several minutes before canvassing the neighborhood and speaking with residents.
According to a biography Matthew wrote when he registered a family crest, he was born in Pittsburgh and his father owned a barbershop and his mother was an accountant.
A chance turn of Trump’s head, not the quick reaction of snipers, was what made the difference between a glancing blow from the bullet Crooks fired and a fatal shot
He writes that he “attended local universities” before later working as a counselor in social services, before naming his two children Katie and Tom.
Neighbors were asked to leave their homes after explosives and other items were taken from both Crooks’ van and his home.
Crooks parked the vehicle near the rally site in Butler on Saturday before climbing onto the roof of a nearby industrial manufacturing building.
It wasn’t the quick reaction of nearby snipers, but a chance turn of Trump’s head that made the difference between a glancing blow and a killing shot.
Corey Comperatore, 55, a father of two and volunteer fire chief, is the person in the audience who died while shielding his family from the gunfire.
Two other bystanders who were hit, 57-year-old David Dutch and 74-year-old James Copenhaver, are both in stable condition.
Crooks was killed by the USSS seconds after opening fire on the former president and presumptive Republican presidential candidate.
