Trump allegedly believed ALIENS came down and stole 2020 election ballots, Lindsey Graham told Georgia Grand Jury investigating his attempt to overturn the election

  • Juror says Graham made the statement to the grand jury
  • The investigation began after Trump asked the state election official to “find” 11,780 votes

Former President Donald Trump was so willing to accept election fraud claims that he would have believed interstellar statements, his ally Senator Lindsey Graham told a grand jury.

Graham made the statement before a special grand jury investigating the attempted election overthrow by Trump and key allies in the state, which went before Joe Biden in 2020.

“He said if someone had told Trump at the time that aliens had come down and stolen Trump ballots, Trump would have believed it,” Graham said, according to a grand juror who spoke to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The news came on a day when a lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels said she had met with prosecutors in a separate case in Manhattan where Trump is under investigation for a $130,000 “silence” payment settlement.

Senator Lindsey Graham (RS.C.) reportedly told a Georgia grand jury that Donald Trump believed a claim of election fraud involving aliens

Graham, who was a staunch Trump ally in the Senate, made the statement after a long court battle over whether he should appear himself, after making phone calls to Georgia election officials amid the overthrow. Graham’s lawyers invoked the constitution’s “speech and debate” clause to protect him from testimony, but the Supreme Court upheld the subpoena from a lower court, with limitations.

The paper’s look at the grand jury also revealed that two jurors said as many as 10 people invoked their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination and refused to answer questions.

The jury presiding judge said former Trump national security adviser Mike Flynn, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows all declined to answer some or most questions from prosecutors.

Fulton County DA Fani Willis began the investigation in 2021 after news of Trump’s leaked taped call to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger where Trump asked him to “find” 11,780 votes.

Trump had filed a series of election fraud allegations related to mass fraud, insecure ballot boxes, relocation of ballot boxes in voting centers, claims of insecure mail voting and drop boxes, while some of his key allies with whom he interacted after the 2020 election expressed conspiracy theories about election software .

Graham chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee during Trump’s bid to overturn the election.

He had a long history with Trump, having himself sought the Republicans’ presidential nomination (Trump once read aloud his cell phone number at a campaign rally).

Graham famously delivered a speech on the Senate floor on Jan. 6, saying he and Trump had “a great journey.” I hate to end up like this. Oh my God I hate it.’

He then rejected Trump’s calls for Pence to overturn the Electoral College-certified votes.

“So, Mike, Mr. Vice President, hold on. They said we can count on Mike. We can all count on the Vice President. You’re going to do the right thing. You’re going to do the constitutional thing,” he told Pence.
