Trump unleashes vile new nickname for NYT writer after his ‘human printer’ is attacked
Donald Trump is furious with the New York Times over a report claiming that people in the president-elect’s inner circle were uncomfortable with his aide’s outwardly obsequious devotion to her boss.
This week’s report from Maggie Haberman prompted Trump to call the journalist a “third-rate writer.”
He demanded that the outlet apologize to its readers for the years of “mishandling” him.
Natalie Harp, a 33-year-old aide, wrote devotional messages about Trump last year that showed an almost Christian devotion to the former and future commander-in-chief.
Haberman’s Monday report indicated that the fawning letters from Harp, nicknamed the “human printer,” were “unnerving” to other members of the president-elect’s staff.
“You are the only thing that matters to me,” Harp wrote in one of the letters. “I never want to let you down.”
The former host of the right-wing One America News Network called Trump her “Guardian and protector in this life.”
In another letter, she told Trump she wanted to get back to “that synergy” she used to have with him, where “we talked about everything and nothing.”

The attack came after Haberman wrote that Tump aide Natalie Harp (left) was making other staffers “nervous” with her fawning letters about the newly elected president. Pictured: Trump invites Harp to speak at the 2019 Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, DC
“I want to give you joy,” she wrote, “the feeling that we can get through the day without ever having to talk about ‘work.’
Harp — who had no official title during Trump’s 2024 campaign — is expected to play an outsized role in the Trump 2.0 White House.
The NYT published its report from Haberman on Monday, detailing how others in Trump’s inner circle viewed Harp’s letters.
“Will the failing New York Times apologize to its readers for so misrepresenting years of ‘Trump’ reporting,” the newly elected president wrote on Truth Social in response to the report. ‘They write such fake ‘rubbish’, knowing full well how incorrect it is, and only intended to humiliate.’
“Magot (sic) Hagerman, a third-rate writer and a fourth-rate intellect, writes story after story, always terrible, and yet I hardly ever speak to her,” he added. ‘They don’t check for facts because facts don’t matter to them. I don’t think I’ve had a really good story in the NYT for years.”
Harp was branded the “human printer” after toting around a portable printer and a battery pack to provide Trump with printouts of the information he requested.
But The Times reported that Harp did not act as a gatekeeper, but instead provided Trump with information from websites like Gateway Pundit, known for posting conspiracy theories online.
The newspaper also wrote that Harp was used to settle scores.

Harp is constantly at the side of newly elected President Donald Trump, also on the golf course. She had a mobile printer and a battery with her to ensure he got the printouts of the information he requested
“When people seeking influence with Mr. Trump want to pit him against their rivals, they send damaging clips to Ms. Harp, knowing she will pass them on unattended,” The Times said.
She came into the newly elected president’s orbit after crediting him with saving her life.
Harp is a bone cancer survivor and credited the Right to Try law that Trump signed in 2018 with saving her life because it gave her access to experimental treatments.
Some experts have been in doubt whether that particular law can be credited as it claims.
Trump loved the story and invited Harp to speak on his behalf at the 2020 Republican National Convention, held in Washington, DC amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The nickname “human printer” came about because Harp carried a portable printer and a battery with him to provide Trump with printouts of the information he requested – often giving him access to websites that spread conspiracy theories
Natalie Harp joined Trump’s communications team in 2022, when he was not yet completely out of the political doghouse in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Now she is poised to take on an extremely influential role in the White House
She did some campaign work that cycle before joining the right-wing One America News Network, where she repeated Trump’s false claims that widespread voter fraud would cost him his reelection.
Harp joined Trump’s communications team in 2022, when Trump was still in the political doghouse in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
Since then, she has almost always been by Trump’s side.
In a documentary about the 2024 race, Harp is seen typing out dictated messages on social media as Trump watches Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech at the Democratic National Convention.
She was with him during Stormy Daniels’ hush money trial and is a companion on the golf course.
For Trump, the devotion is seemingly mutual, with The Times reporting that he once mocked the fact that Harp is the only aide who actually cares about him after he was indicted in the Fulton County, Georgia, case.
