Former President Donald Trump listed his height as six feet when he was arrested in Manhattan on Tuesday, a slightly shorter stature than the data point when he left the White House.
Trump provided the information to authorities when he was booked and charged in New York, in a historic move that prompted Trump to unload a string of investigators, though he later thanked the police and officers who provided security during his visit.
He said he weighed 240 pounds.
The figure Trump gave, reported by Mediationis an inch lower than what White House physician Dr. Sean Conley reported in 2020, after a physical examination said Trump weighed 244 pounds.

That result led to online speculation by “girthers” that Trump’s height was deliberately manipulated to keep him just above a technical threshold for obesity.
A 6 foot 3 person who weighs 239 has a body mass index of 29.9 – which is just below the 30.0 technical obesity descriptor.
Trump’s New York driver’s license also lists him as 6 feet 2 inches, Politics reported in 2016. That was the same year that Trump famously read from a letter on the Dr. Oz Show from his gastroenterologist Dr. Harold Bornstein who also placed him at 6 foot 3.

Trump may have been thinking about height later Tuesday when he yelled at his son Barron, who wasn’t at Mar-a-Lago for Trump’s speech. Nor was former first lady Melania Trump.
Trump raised Barron, 17, after praising the “great job” his adult sons Don Jr. and Eric did, while they were both present in the room.
“And Barron will be great one day. He’s tall and he’s smart,” Trump said of his six-foot-tall son with Melania.
Trump’s supporters and political operation were willing to concede an inch or two.
A fake photo promoting Trump’s campaign as a fundraiser on a T-shirt that read “NOT GUILTY” showed Trump to be six feet tall — which would be four inches taller than what he had reported as his height.
