Trump to deliver ‘unity’ speech at Republican National Convention in Milwaukee as F-35 intercepts mystery plane near city

At the Faith and Freedom breakfast in Milwaukee, Senator JD Vance said he was “crying backstage” during his wife Usha’s keynote address.

He said his “beautiful” wife was “so incredibly relatable” and joked that he wasn’t “in his right mind” to follow her comments.

Then he said with a laugh, “That’s when I realized it was my idea.”

Vance also spoke about his journey in faith. Vance says finding a wife and love brought him back to Christ.

During the breakfast, the senator addressed the question of whether the Republican Party of the future will be welcoming to social conservatives.

“Social conservatives have a place at this table and always will, as long as I have any influence in this party,” Vance said.
