Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks is seen dead on the roof in chilling new video confirming Secret Service was warned

Dramatic new footage shows police officers standing by the body of Donald Trump’s killer moments after he was shot dead.

The video shows local police and a Secret Service agent discussing how Thomas Matthew Crooks was identified as a suspect before he began shooting.

The shocking clip shows a pool of blood pouring from the 20-year-old’s body after he is taken out by a sniper, with his deadly weapon lying nearby.

“So this is the guy,” the Secret Service agent says to a Beaver County Emergency Service Unit agent.

The bodycam footage, released by Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, shows the moments after the shooting, in which Trump injured and killed firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50.

Crooks opened fire while the presidential candidate was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last week.

The clip shows him lying lifeless on the roof he climbed to take the photo.

In the video, the Secret Service officer is notified that Crooks has been spotted by a sniper, who has sent his photo to other police officers.

Then they start talking about his bike, which was spotted nearby.

“So we’re considering this a suspicious device?” the Secret Service agent confirms.

The camera then pans to show the gun Crooks used in the shooting, which they confirm is the same person in the footage the sniper sent.

The Secret Service agent also reports that people who were filming in the run-up to the shooting have also been arrested.

“Maybe they were involved, maybe they weren’t. The guys who saw them said, ‘They were filming us, then they were filming the guy on the roof, then they were filming us,'” he says.

“When the shots started ringing out they tried to run away, isn’t that what anyone would do who has a phone? I’m not saying they were involved or not, but I had no problem apprehending them.

“I just want to arrest these guys and find out what they know, who they are, whatever. I’m trying to get clear information that I can pass on to Washington.”

Crooks was chillingly filmed hiding near the stage at the former president’s rally just an hour before he unleashed a hail of bullets.

The disturbing footage, captured by someone in the crowd, shows the gunman sneaking around a building and climbing up 60 minutes later to find the perfect vantage point from which to attack Trump.

The footage was released amid a series of shocking developments that raise more questions about the massive security failure that led to the assassination of Trump.

It turned out that the shooter’s father had called police on the day of the shooting after Crooks failed to return from what he thought was a routine Saturday visit to the local shooting range.

It also emerged that Crooks had been at the former president’s rally three hours before he opened fire, raising suspicions even with the Secret Service, as he was carrying a rangefinder used by hunters to take long-range shots.

But he was never arrested or questioned.

He later climbed to the roof of the building where he was lurking, shot Trump and killed retired volunteer fire chief Corey Comperatore.

Crooks had told his boss he needed the day off on Saturday and gave his colleagues one final chilling message: that he would be back on Sunday.
