Trump Sells $60 Bible With God Bless the USA Singer Lee Greenwood: Ex-President Pushes His ‘Favorite Book’ in New Video and Says ‘Make America Pray Again’ in Pre-Easter Cash Grab

Donald Trump is selling $60 Bibles in partnership with singer Lee Greenwood, whose “God Bless the USA” is the former president’s walk-on music for his political rallies.

‘Happy Holy Week! Let’s make America pray again. As we head into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to purchase a copy of the God Bless the USA Bible,” Trump said in a video on Truth Social, announcing his new venture, which comes the week before Catholics celebrate Easter.

“All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have a lot of them. It’s my favorite book. It is many people’s favorite book,” he adds.

The “God Bless the USA Bible” costs $59.99, excluding shipping and other charges.

Donald Trump is selling $60 worth of Bibles with singer Lee Greenwood as he faces a serious money crisis

Trump’s sales pitches come as the former president faces a serious cash crisis and mounting legal bills.

Greenwood offers the Bibles for sale through a website, GodBlessTheUSABible.com. The website shows a photo of Trump and Greenwood together in the Oval Office.

The cover of the Bible features the words ‘Holy Bible’ and ‘God Bless the USA’ and a design based on the American flag.

The website touts it as “the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!”

The Bible is described as “easy to read” with “large print” and a “sleek design” that “invites you to explore God’s Word anywhere, anytime.”

The Trump-backed Bible includes the translation of the King James Version, along with copies of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a handwritten chorus of the famous Greenwood song.

The website says the Bible is not funding Trump’s presidential campaign, noting that it is “not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign.”

Instead, it’s one of Trump’s latest money-making ventures, along with his Trump-branded sneakers and NFTs that show him in cartoonish images, including as an astronaut, cowboy and superhero.

“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing in this country,” Trump says in his Bible talk.

“And I really believe we need to bring them back, and quickly. I think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is in disarray. We have lost religion in our country.”

He continues: ‘We love God and we must protect everything that is pro-God.’

He concludes with a twist on his campaign slogan: “We need to get America to pray again.”

Trump remains popular with evangelical Christians. The Bible is the best-selling book in the world.

It is unclear how much Trump will make from this latest business deal.

The website that sells the Bible states that “GodBlessTheUSABible.com is not owned, operated or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC, or any of their respective principals or affiliates.”

But it does say it has a license from CIC Ventures to use Trump’s name, likeness and image.

Trump’s 2023 financial disclosure shows he made more than $5 million through CIC Ventures.

And his wealth exploded after his Truth Social media company began trading publicly on the NASDAQ.

But he cannot cash in on his stake in that company for months.

In the meantime, he must post $175 million for an appeal bond that will prevent New York State from enforcing a $454 million civil fraud judgment against him. He is also fighting an order to pay $83.3 million for defaming writer E. Jean Carroll.

In addition, the former president’s political fundraising operation has fallen behind Democratic rival Joe Biden.

Trump’s campaign and his Save America political action committee, two key committees in his political operation, reported raising a combined $15.9 million in February and ended the month with more than $37 million.

Biden’s campaign, meanwhile, raised $53 million last month and ended February with $155 million. This includes his joint fundraising with the Democratic National Committee.

In June 2020, Trump famously marched out of the White House and through Lafayette Square, which had been cleared of Black Lives Matter protesters, and posed outside the historic St. John’s Church while holding a Bible aloft.

A reporter asked, “Is that your Bible?”

Trump said: ‘It’s a Bible.’
