Trump says ‘USA-hating people’ bigger threat than Russia to U.S.

Former President Donald Trump said in a video posted Thursday that Russia was not the biggest threat to the US, but rather some of the country’s own citizens, as he went on a screed about fighting the “establishment.”

“But the biggest threat to Western civilization today isn’t Russia, it’s probably more than anything, ourselves and some of the horrible, US-hating people who represent us,” Trump said.

Trump, who announced his ambitions to run for president again in November, explained in a three-and-a-half minute video that he believed the Russia-Ukrainian conflict had to end “immediately” to stop “World War III.”

He did not specify what peace would look like, although he stressed that the “entire globalist neocon establishment” had to be dismantled, the State Department, “defense bureaucracy” and intelligence agencies had to be cleaned up, and NATO’s role had to be redefined. be investigated.

“These globalists want to waste all of America’s strength, blood and treasure, chasing monsters and ghosts abroad while distracting us from the havoc they are wreaking here at home,” Trump said. “These forces are doing more damage to America than Russia and China could ever dream of.”

In a three and a half minute video, Trump argued that “globalists” were more damaging to the US than Russia and China. Pictured are Russian leader Vladimir Putin (left) and Chinese President Xi Jinping (right).

He had a laundry list of domestic ills that he considered more pervasive than any foreign policy woes.

‘It is the abolition of our national borders. It is the failure to guard our own cities. It is the destruction of the rule of law from within. It’s the collapse of the nuclear family and fertility rates that no one can believe is happening,” Trump said.

“It’s the Marxists who want us to become a godless nation, worshiping at the altar of race and gender and environment,” he continued. “And it is the globalist class that has made us completely dependent on China and other foreign countries that basically hate us.”

Trump’s foreign policy diatribe comes as his main primary rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis — who has yet to formally announce a 2024 run — caught the attention of the Republican Party’s founding for calling the war between Russia and only called Ukraine a ‘territorial dispute’. that supporting the Ukrainians was not in the “vital interest” of the US

DeSantis’ stance was seen as a way for him to emulate Trump, whose “America First” foreign policy contrasted with previous Republican presidents and nominees, who were more aggressive about US intervention abroad.

DeSantis, who voiced his views on the war in Ukraine by taking a poll from Fox’s Tucker Carlson, drew criticism almost immediately from hopeful Nikki Haley, Trump’s former UN ambassador in 2024.

Haley explained the bigger picture in a statement released the following morning.

“The Russian government is a powerful dictatorship that makes no secret of its hatred of America,” she said. “Unlike other anti-American regimes, it brutally seeks to expand by force into a neighboring pro-American country. It also regularly threatens other American allies.”

“America is much better off with a Ukrainian victory than a Russian victory, including avoiding a wider war,” she continued. “If Russia wins, there is no reason to believe it will stop with Ukraine. And if Russia wins, its closest allies, China and Iran, will become more aggressive.”

In response to the same poll, Trump called Ukraine a “vital concern for Europe.” But not for the United States.’

“Therefore, Europe should pay much more than we do, or be equal,” he argued.

He also argued that ending the war, which has been going on for more than a year, was as easy as having the right leader work out a deal.

“The president needs to meet both sides, then both sides together, and work out a deal quickly,” he said. “This can be done easily if led by the right president.”

In his video message Thursday, he also offered that he was the only one to evict the “sick and corrupt establishment.”

And I’m the only one who can. I’m the only one who can get the job done. I know exactly what needs to be done,” he argued.
