Trump says it’s ‘highly unlikely’ DeSantis will be in his administration and says there is ‘no path’ for Nikki Haley to win with just 24 hours until New Hampshire primary

Donald Trump said it is “highly unlikely” he would have Ron DeSantis in his administration and that he “does not see a path” for Nikki Haley to the nomination as New Hampshire voters prepare to go to the polls on Tuesday.
The former president spoke with Fox News’ Lawrence Jones to discuss the state of the Republican presidential race. The interview was broadcast on Monday, the day that Trump will appear again in court in New York to face the defamation suit against him by E. Jean Carroll. The former president returns to New Hampshire for a rally Monday evening.
He said he appreciated Ron DeSantis’ support after the former governor withdrew from the race on Sunday, but said he did not see him serving as his running mate or in his administration.
“Well, it’s probably unlikely, but you know, I have to be honest, anything is possible, but I think it’s highly unlikely. I have a lot of great people. And I have great people who have been with me from the beginning,” he said.

He also destroyed Haley, who remains in the race against him.
“I don’t see a path for her at all,” he said of her presidential campaign.
And he said he was ‘very angry’ with her for standing up to him after he appointed her ambassador to the UN
‘I would tell Nikki I didn’t do anything. “I am very angry with her,” he said. ‘She worked for me for two and a half years. She was fine. Not good. She was fine. She told everyone, if she left, I would never go against the president.”
The former president is leading by double digits in the polls of the first presidential elections in the United States.
A Washington Post/Monmouth University poll found that 52 percent of primary voters support Trump, while 34 percent support Haley.
DeSantis dropped out of the race on Sunday night, endorsing Trump and criticizing Haley.
in his video announcement, DeSantis noted, “It is clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance. They saw how his presidency was stymied by brutal resistance and they saw how Democrats continue to use the law to attack him to this day.”
“Trump is superior to the current incumbent President, Joe Biden. That is obvious. “I signed a pledge to support the Republican nominee and I will keep that pledge.”

“He has my support because we cannot go back to the old Republican guard of yesteryear — a repackaged form of reheated corporatism — that Nikki Haley represents,” DeSantis said.
DeSantis’ endorsement of Trump came after he repeatedly criticized the former president, questioning his age and claiming he would inspire Democrats to come out en masse to support Biden.
Trump, for his part, said Sunday that he would retire the nickname “Ron DeSanctimonious” now that Florida’s governor endorsed him.
Haley said simply of the race, “I want to say to Ron that he has run a great race, he has been a good governor and we wish him the best. That said, there’s now one guy and one lady left.”
