With Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis deciding Thursday that Trump would face a trial on Oct. 23 on Georgia state charges, the ex-president has a busy schedule as he returns to court as he campaigns for the presidency.
This is what his schedule looks like until Election Day 2024:
August 25, 2023: Deadline in Georgia for Trump to turn himself in
Willis gave Trump and the other 18 people charged in Fulton County, Georgia, 10 days to turn themselves in or face arrest.
August 28, 2023: Hearing for the 2020 federal election and the January 6 case
Trump’s lawyers will return to federal court in Washington DC to appear before U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is expected to use the hearing to set a trial date.
Trump’s legal team has insisted that the trial will take place after the 2024 election, while prosecutors want a “speedy trial.”

Carroll sued Trump for libel in November 2019 after publicly denying her claims that he was raped by him in New York City’s Bergdorf Goodman department store in 1996. Trump said Carroll was “completely lying” and “not my type.”
In a separate lawsuit that went to trial earlier this year, jurors found that Trump had not raped Carroll, but sexually assaulted her and awarded her $5 million in the lawsuit, something Trump defies.

March 25, 2024: Hush money case goes to court
About a year after the first indictment against Trump, based on New York State charges related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, the case will come to trial.
If Republican voters rally around one Trump rival, the Republican primary could still go ahead.
During his last competitive cycle, Trump did not become the presumptive candidate for the Republican Party until May 3, 2016.
