Trump reveals he won over major Hollywood celebrity after fearing ‘I never thought he liked me’ – and the star’s endorsement could rock the election

Donald Trump told WWE legend The Undertaker that he has won the respect of one of Hollywood’s biggest wrestling stars after he was shot.

Trump appeared on The Undertaker’s highly anticipated podcast “Six Feet Under” on Monday.

The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Calaway, was asked by Trump who the biggest wrestling star on social media was and replied that it was Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Trump then discussed his history with The Rock, who recently admitted to regretting supporting Joe Biden over Trump in 2020, saying, “He was great. I never thought he liked me, and I felt bad, because I think he’s a great guy.’

He then heard from UFC promoter Dana White how impressed Johnson was after Trump got to his feet and responded to his shot.

“And then Dana White said, when I got shot – a shot in the ear, you may have heard of it – Rock called Dana and said, ‘I want his number. I want his number. What he did is actually unbelievable.” He thought it was brave. I don’t know, I was thinking about it, ‘What’s going on here?’ But it was a lot of fun, the Rock.”

The Undertaker agreed with Johnson’s opinion of Trump’s reaction to the shooting and Trump asked him to pass on his good feelings to Johnson.

Indeed, Johnson publicly praised Trump after the July 13 shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“Whether you love Donald or you don’t like Donald, it doesn’t matter. They tried to kill him,” he said at a conference in Florida.

‘There’s no room for that. Even though this is who we were at that moment, I still believe at my core that this is not who we are as a country. So he stood up at that moment, that’s what we wanted to see,” the Washington Times reported.

In April, Johnson, 51, who many have tipped would one day run for office, admitted he regretted supporting Joe Biden in 2020.

The Hollywood megastar told Fox and Friends that he’s not happy with the “state” of America right now and admitted that “woke” and “cancel culture” really “annoys” him.

In a stunning reversal, he also admitted that publicly supporting Biden over Trump four years ago was “divisive” — something he said “tears me apart.”

“The endorsement I made with Biden years ago was one that I thought was the best decision for me at the time,” he told the program.

‘Now that I am participating in the elections, I realize that I will not do that. My goal is to bring this country together,” he added.

‘I will keep my politics to myself. It’s between me and the ballot box. Like many of us who don’t trust all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for is my president and whom I will support 100 percent.”

True to his word, he has not yet expressed any support for the 2024 election, expressing only his admiration for Trump’s response to the shooting.

It was a stunning turnaround from 2020, when the Rock gave a resounding approvalin a move, the Biden campaign blasted its website. Having the macho validator was a way to counter Trump’s message that he was the tougher candidate. His comments also made repeated references to Kamala Harris.

He said it was something he had “never done in the past” but decided to “go big” and followed up with a conversation with the two of them.

“I have never publicly supported a presidential candidate or vice presidential candidate in my life,” he said. “You both have experience in leadership, you’ve done great things. Joe, you’ve had such an incredible career, and you’ve led with such great compassion, heart, drive, and soul… Kamala, you’ve been a prosecutor, a district attorney, a U.S. Senator. You are smart and tough. I saw you at those hearings,” he said.

He called them the “best choice to lead our country.”

Harris said during a Zoom meeting with Joe Biden and the Rock that she was a “huge fan of Fast & Furious, all Jumanji,” referring to his film catalog.
