Trump reveals to Joe Rogan the ‘one big mistake’ he made in his presidency as he opens up about UFOs, murder plots and the state of the 2024 election in wild three-hour podcast

Republican candidate Donald Trump appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast in a three-hour interview in which he showed off his scar from his attempted assassination, talked about UFOs and revealed the “one big mistake” during his presidency.

Appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, the former president revealed that he felt he had made “bad choices” when discussing past appointments to his Cabinet.

He attributed the “success” of his presidency to his own decision-making in choosing officials for his government.

“The one mistake… I will say it always comes back to the same answer, the biggest mistake I made… I picked some people that I shouldn’t have picked,” he said.

Rogan then responded by asking if that was a reference to “neocons,” to which Trump replied, “Yes, neocons, or bad people, or disloyal people.”

The 78-year-old Republican candidate didn’t hold back, specifically mentioning John Kelly, his longest-serving White House chief of staff, and John Bolton, his national security adviser.

Both Kelly and Bolton have become highly critical of the former president. Kelly was only recently quoted as claiming that Trump was a fan of Adolf Hitler and warning that he would “rule like a dictator if allowed to do so.”

Kelly served on Trump’s staff from 2017 to 2019 and revealed to the New York Times his claims that the ex-president is the “definition of fascist” with no understanding of American history or the Constitution.

He claimed that Trump reportedly said that “Hitler had done some good things,” praising the Nazi dictator for “rebuilding the economy,” and that he criticized the level of loyalty among German generals in World War II would have wanted.

Bolton told the Daily beast that “Trump is too stupid to be a real fascist” and that the ex-president’s behavior is “disturbing enough in itself.”

‘To be a fascist you must have philosophy. Trump is not capable of doing that,” he added.

Trump compared Kelly to a “bully” on Rogan’s podcast, saying, “You read a little bit about them today, a guy like Kelly, who was a bully. A bully, but a weak person… He’s evil… Bolton was an idiot.’

Rogan also pressed the former president claiming the 2020 election was stolen from him, asking, “I want to talk about 2020 because you said over and over again that you were robbed in 2020. How do you think you got robbed?’

“That election was so crooked, it was the most crooked election,” Trump responded.

Asked for examples, he continues: ‘Well, let’s start, let’s start at the top and with the easiest one.’

“They had to get regulatory approval to do the things they did, and in many cases they didn’t get it, they didn’t get it,” he added.

Trump was then asked what issues needed the legislative approval he was referring to, and he replied, “Everything… Like for voting extensions, for early voting. All these different things. By law, they had to get regulatory approval.”

‘You don’t have to go any further than that. If you look at Wisconsin, they basically admitted that the election was rigged, robbed and stolen.”

He then explains that access to ballots was limited in certain areas because, he claimed, “the ballots were not signed. They weren’t originals.’

“We could go to the ballots, or we could go to the general. I’ll give you another way,” he continued.

When Rogan then asks if he will ever “present” this evidence, Trump directs the conversation to the 51 intelligence officials who claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop came with a signed letter from Russia just before the 2020 election.

However, the light-hearted, friendly podcast quickly turned around. Rogan asked if the former president had received inside information about the existence of aliens.

To which he replied, “They told me a lot.”

After Rogan pressed further, Trump said that “based on Hunter Biden, I can say whatever I want.”

He goes on to say that there is “no reason” not to believe there is life in space.

Rogan then pointed out the lack of evidence and raised speculative claims about drones “hovering over battleships, that these are Chinese drones and that they are not UFOs.”

“That’s possible,” he replied. Before the two then discussed Area 51, Trump shared, “I have to be honest. I’ve never been a believer. I have people using Area 51 or whatever it is. I think it’s the main tourist attraction in the whole country or something. Area 51 in Las Vegas.”

The three-hour podcast, which delayed Trump’s arrival in Michigan by several hours, began with a friendly discussion about the scar he left behind after the July 13 assassination attempt on Thomas Mathew Cook.

He referred to a “little mark” on his ear where he was shot. “We hit it off right there,” he added.

“It healed pretty well,” Rogan replies.

“It’s not like some wrestlers some UFC fighters,” Trump added. “But it makes me a stronger boy.”

In 2022, Rogan was adamant that Trump would never appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because he did not want to help the Republican Party’s campaign.

He turned down multiple offers to have Trump on the show, saying, “I am not a Trump supporter in any way shape or form.” I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once – I’ve said no every time… I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.’

Rogan had even called the former president a “threat to democracy.”

However, after facing backlash after apparently supporting RFK Jr over Trump, Rogan was forced to double down on his comments and insist he was not supporting Kennedy.

The episode was released Friday evening at 10:00 PM Eastern Time and the ratings jumped to 300,000 in just 30 minutes.

“There’s probably no one in history that I’ve ever seen that’s been attacked the way you’ve been attacked and the way they’ve done it in such a coordinated and systematic way,” Rogan told Trump. “You said a lot of wild things.”

Kamala Harris’ campaign was reportedly negotiating with Rogan’s team for an interview on his podcast, and it was announced that she would not appear “due to the scheduling of this period of the campaign.”
