Trump reveals one of the biggest campaign issues he says will cost Kamala Harris the election

Donald Trump says there is one major issue besides immigration and the economy that could hurt Kamala Harris’ election chances.

The White House’s response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton has been slammed as lackluster by critics, who say not enough is being done to help Americans hardest hit by the devastating storms — and Trump says this is the surprise of October could be the one that hurts Democrats.

Meanwhile, the former president has claimed that President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris are not responding appropriately because North Carolina, Florida and Georgia are all red or red-leaning states.

“The other problem that’s really big, I think, is how poorly they’ve done with North Carolina and parts of Georgia. “If you look at what happened and with Florida, we all see what’s happening there,” Trump told Fox host Maria Bartimo. Sunday.

“I think we were a bit lucky in the sense that it was bad, but it wasn’t as bad as they thought. And many governors have done a good job.” he continued, “But the response from the White House was absolutely terrible.”

‘[Harris’] The response was terrible,” Trump said. ‘So bad that they didn’t even want to – I see [Gov.] Ron [DeSantis] didn’t want her in Florida: “Just don’t even come here.”

Trump and his allies have claimed that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is giving only $750 to families in need of assistance, and that this has fueled fears among residents that if they accept aid, the government will take ownership of their homes can take over.

The White House has repeatedly said this is disinformation and has called on Trump to publicly correct himself.

Speaking during a church service at the Koinonia Christian Center in Greenville, North Carolina on Sunday, the vice president called out the information Trump is spreading about the storm response.

“Unfortunately, the motives are honestly quite transparent: to gain an advantage for themselves, to play politics with the heartbreak of others,” she claimed.

And President Biden awkwardly ended a briefing on the response to Hurricane Milton on Thursday with an attack on his predecessor.

As the president wrapped up the briefing, he was asked if he had spoken to Trump.

“Are you kidding me?” the 81-year-old chuckled.

‘Sir. President Trump, former President Trump – find a rescuer, help these people,” he said in a message directly to the camera.

Bartiromo asked during an interview with Trump on Sunday Morning Futures, “We’re just a few weeks away, a little over 20 days away from the election. What do you think of the race?’

“I feel great,” Trump replied. “We’re leading in all the swing states, and especially in the national states, I think. You know, I believe in polls, some of them are fake. ”And she can’t talk. There is something wrong with a candidate, but I accept it,” he said of his Democratic competitor. “But we’ve – I think we’re doing very well. Yes.’
