Trump mocks Democrat Debbie Dingell for crying at her husband’s funeral

  • Rep. Debbie Dingell dismissed Trump's Christmas greeting as 'pathetic'
  • He later responded with a bitter Truth Social tirade against her

Former President Donald Trump launched a bitter attack on Rep. Debbie Dingell on Tuesday night after she sounded the alarm over his threats against judges and dismissed his Christmas message as “pathetic.”

In a tirade on social media, he blamed her for the country's decline and high crime rates, even targeting her for crying after her husband's death.

It was all apparently sparked by an appearance on CNN hours earlier in which the Democrat criticized the former president and decried his less than festive message that his enemies could “rot in hell.”

“And honestly, I'm going to tell you that when a former president of the United States who wants to return on Christmas Day tells people to fuck off, it's one of the saddest Christmas greetings I've heard. in hell,” she said.

“He is contributing to the division and division in this country.”

Trump quickly hit back at Truth Social, calling Dingell a “loser” who helped “Crooked Joe Biden and his merry band of thugs.”

“When I, as president, gave her long-serving husband the absolute highest American honor for his funeral, a very big deal, she called me, crying almost uncontrollably, to say she couldn't believe I was willing to do that. a Democrat,” he added.

'She thanked me profusely. Two months later, she was back on the road, ranting and raving about “TRUMP.”

She should focus on how poorly Michigan's auto workers, and the US as a whole, are being treated by CHINA, to which Crooked Joe Biden has given away this once great industry!'

Rep. John Dingell was the longest-serving congressman in American history. He represented Michigan from 1955 to 2015 before his wife took over his district.

He died in 2019 at the age of 92.

Trump was among those who paid tribute.

“The longest-serving Congressman in the history of the country, which, if people understand politics, means he was very smart,” he said in a tweet. 'A great reputation and a very respected man.'

But it didn't take long for Trump and Dingell's widow to clash.

She voted to impeach the then-president in 2019, prompting Trump to say her late husband was “looking up from hell.”

“The last time I spoke to Debbie Dingell was her call thanking me for bestowing the highest memorial and funeral honors on her then recently deceased husband, former Congressman John Dingell,” he tweeted at the time.

“Now I see her tearing me apart as part of the Democrats Impeachment Hoax. Really sad!'
