Amid growing calls for Biden to make public the list of names who had been in and out of the home during his presidency, the White House counsel’s office said Monday that no such registry of names exists.

“Like every president in decades of modern history, his personal residence is a personal one,” the White House Attorney’s Office told Fox News.

“But upon taking office, President Biden restored the norm and tradition of keeping White House visitor logs, including periodicals, after they were terminated by the previous administration.”

House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., wrote to White House chief of staff Ron Klain on Sunday demanding access to the visitor logs kept for the Delaware home.

“Without a list of the people who visited your residence, the American people will never know who had access to these highly confidential documents,” the Kentucky Republican wrote in his letter.

Former President Donald Trump boasts after Justice Department appoints special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden’s handling of classified information

It was revealed last week that classified files had been found at both Biden’s Delaware home and his Washington, DC, expert office.

The Justice Department has been investigating for months whether Biden mishandled the documents after leaving the vice presidency.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed special counsel to oversee Biden’s handling of classified documents after documents dated his vice presidency were first discovered on November 2, 2022 at the Penn Biden Center.

Garland had appointed special counsel to oversee Trump investigations, including handling of classified files, in November.

The president has vowed to take the matter “seriously” and cooperate with the National Archives and the Department of Justice every step of the way.

President Joe Biden’s White House revealed that no public visitor records were kept at his Wilmington, Delaware, residence.

But questions are still mounting about why the White House took so long to admit the existence of the documents, which it did after CBS News first broke the story about the Penn-Biden Center, and who might have had access to the documents. documents at Biden’s house.

If someone with “foreign connections” had access to the documents, it was likely in reference to the president’s son, Hunter Biden. Hunter’s foreign business dealings in China and Ukraine have been under scrutiny for years, and he, too, is under investigation by the US attorney in Delaware for possible financial fraud.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to say whether there are visitor records for the Greenville home during a news briefing last week.

Instead, he noted that the Biden administration had expanded transparency regarding White House visitor records that had been severely reduced under Trump.
