Trump laughs at comedian’s outrageous question on Barron being ‘unleashed’ at NYU
Comedian Andrew Schulz didn’t hesitate when he asked Donald Trump about abortion, suggesting the president’s son Barron could be influenced by his father’s policies.
The 40-year-old comedian spoke with the ex-president for an interview on his podcast released Wednesday.
The wide-ranging conversation included delving into Trump’s Scottish heritage, the former president’s many assassination attempts, and Barron Trump’s romantic escapades at New York University – where he started this fall.
Shulz’s brutal investigation into Barron’s personal life was a jumping-off point for the comedian to ask more serious questions about Trump’s stance on abortion.
And the way he asked caused Trump to panic.

“Barron is 18, he’s handsome, he’s tall, he’s rich,” Shulz begins.
“He’s been let loose in New York City.”
“Are you sure you want to overturn Roe v. Wade now?” the comedian jokes.
Trump immediately laughs and smiles.
Shulz continues, his cohosts’ laughs and Trump’s smile still visible.
“I mean, maybe give him a few years,” he adds, insinuating that Barron might benefit from the controversial abortion ruling while in college.
Trump responds, “Well, you know it’s up to the states now, it’s up to the states.”
“I believe in exceptions and all kinds of other things,” the former president says.
Shulz called Barron “unchained” now that he is away from his family and heading off to college

Shulz delved into a range of topics such as abortion, IVF and immigration
“You have spoken out about that,” Shulz confirms.
“I think a lot of people agree with me,” Trump added.
The ex-president then goes on a tangent about how the Republicans’ abortion policy was politically dangerous.
“Republicans would lose a lot of elections, which also has to do with a lot of other things, because there are a lot of problems: we have the border, we have this, we have wars, we have everything,” Trump said.
“And Roe v. Wade was always about getting it back to the United States,” Trump continued. “Nobody wanted this in the federal government.”
“It’s back to the states,” Trump says, “where everyone wanted it.”
The comedian then dives into how the repeal of Roe v. Wade has opened up threats to IVF.
He then tells Trump how he recently welcomed a baby through IVF with his wife.

“I came out strongly in favor of IVF,” the former president told Shulz.
Trump partly blamed Vice President Kamala Harris for portraying him as anti-IVF, which he repeatedly affirmed.
The former president again says he is for IVF and says the US needs more families.
