Trump: I need more lawyers than Al Capone and trust Putin over intelligence ‘lowlifes’

Donald Trump has suggested that he trusts Russian President Vladimir Putin more than US intelligence officials, as he has complained that he needs more lawyers than the infamous mob boss Al Capone.

The day after Trump returned to the campaign trail, he and his wife Melania were seen at a party in Mar-a-Lago where some of his supporters were caught dancing and twerking to rapper Cardi B’s song, Up in A video posted on Twitter. account called PatriotTakes.

The former president was also photographed on the golf course on Sunday wearing a white polo shirt with ’47’ embroidered in blue on the sleeve, signifying that he plans to be the 45th and 47th president of the United States.

Trump often makes appearances at events held at his Mar-a-Lago club, mostly to the adoration of those in attendance.

While it appears Trump is trying more retail policies in his third run for the White House, he still spends his days socializing and golfing at his club in Palm Beach, Florida, after taking up permanent residence in his Mar-a – Lake House in 2020.

The day after Trump was spotted golfing and partying in Florida, he took to Truth Social to criticize federal law enforcement.

‘Because of the unprecedented use of guns, targeting and harassment, I believe I have more lawyers working for me on this corrupt law enforcement induced Bull… than any human being in the history of our country, including even the late great gangster, Alphonse Capone!’ Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Video from the same event showed a group of women dancing in front of the room to rapper Cardi B’s hit, Up.

Trump is competing with his 2024 White House bid to become the second president to win two non-consecutive terms. The only other is Grover Cleveland, who was the first Democrat elected after the Civil War in 1885 and served as president 22 and 24. Benjamin Harrison served for four years between Cleveland’s two four-year terms.

Following his November 15 announcement of a third run for the presidency, Trump waited two and a half months to launch the election campaign.

The events and fanfare on Saturday show that Trump is testing retail politics this time around as he speaks to much smaller crowds than usual at his famous mega-rallies and mingles with supporters from the community.

But the day after these events, Trump was seen playing golf and later attending a party at Mar-a-Lago with former first lady Melania.

It’s unclear if the former first couple were at the party as guests were seen twerking in the front of the room to Cardi B’s song ‘Up’.

However, a separate video shows the two swaying back and forth and mouthing the words ‘YMCA’ from The Village People.

While Mar-a-Lago is where Trump spends most of his days, the FBI searched the Palm Beach, Florida, property in August to remove boxes of classified documents he took from the White House upon leaving office in January 2021.

The Presidential Records Act requires all official White House documentation to be sent to the National Archives, a request he ignored for more than nine months.

Trump said in a Monday Truth post that former FBI officials, including James Come and Andrew McCabe, are “rogues” and said their actions have led him to trust even the likes of Putin about them.
