Donald Trump apparently hung up on Kim Kardashian when she called him after he left the White House asking him to support her efforts to get more clemency for those she believes were wrongly imprisoned.

A new book hitting shelves Tuesday details the call in which Trump said “absolutely no” to the powerful socialite because he assumed she had voted for Joe Biden in 2020.

Kardashian famously met with Trump in the Oval Office in 2018, where she pushed for a pardon for Alice Johnson, a woman serving a life sentence for drug abuse.

ABC News’ Johnathan Karl writes in his upcoming book Tired of Winning that Trump wanted Kardashian to use her influence to get more football stars to the White House — something she apparently failed to attract.

“A source familiar with the conversations tells me that Trump listened to her pleas (for clemency) and demanded fair compensation,” Karl wrote. excerpts from the book obtained by Axios.

“He would allow the lump sums, he told Kardashian, if she used her celebrity connections to have football stars, who were friends of hers, visit him at the White House.”

“Kardashian essentially tried to do what Trump demanded and saw it as a small price to pay to get justice for people she believed were serving unjust sentences. But all the players she approached refused,” he wrote. “Trump had become too toxic.”

“In the last two weeks of his presidency, no one wanted to be near him.”

However, Trump commuted Alice Johnson’s sentence in 2018 after she served more than 20 years in prison following a life sentence for a first drug offense. Later, the then-president granted and signed a full pardon for the Tennessee woman in August 2020.

A few months after Trump left office in 2021, Kardashian called the ex-president to ask for his support in another case she filed to grant clemency to prisoners — even though Biden was now president.

This time, Trump was less inviting towards the famous media personality.

Kardashian, who reached Trump’s Mar-a-Lago team, was hoping for a high-profile approval of a clemency request.

She “quickly received a call back from Trump,” Karl writes.

“Nope,” the former president told her. He wouldn’t do it. “You voted for Biden and now you come to ask me for a favor?” Trump told her,” he adds in the new book.

Although Kardashian never publicly said who she voted for in 2020, she did post a tweet with an image of Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris with three blue heart emojis.

“After a few more choice words, the line went dead. Trump hung up on her,” Karl wrote of the brief conversation.

Also notable: Trump famously met with Kanye West, Kardashian’s then-husband, during his presidency.

A Trump spokesperson responded to the contents of the book obtained by Axios with: “The disgraceful and talentless John Carl (sic) is a backstabber who could never get his own show for obvious reasons. Excerpts previously released from this ‘book’ have already been thoroughly debunked.”

“This garbage either belongs in the discount bin in the fiction section of the bookstore or should be reused as toilet paper,” she added.
