Trump gives Kamala Harris scathing assessment after her first Fox News interview

Donald Trump ripped the performance of his political rival Kamala Harris during her first Fox News interview.

The dramatic sitdown lasted nearly 30 minutes as Baier and the vice president sparred over the administration’s immigration policies, gender changes for prisoners and other hot topics.

Baier tried to pressure Harris on a number of key issues, but the vice president protested that he should let her finish her answers to the questions.

Meanwhile, she attacked Donald Trump for being totally “unfit” to serve as president for a second term because he is “dangerous.”

Trump congratulated Fox News host Bret Baier on his “tough but very honest interview” before addressing Harris’ hit.

He wrote on X and his social media site Truth Social: “Great work by Bret Baier in his interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irreparable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”

He added that Baier’s interview “clearly demonstrated how totally incompetent Kamala is” and insisted that her “inferior cognitive skills needed to be tested.”

The ex-president’s praise for Baier comes after MAGA social media users speculated that Fox would favor the Democratic presidential candidate.

There was a barrage of criticism after an X user said it was “concerning” that Baier’s interview was pre-recorded and not live.

They also urged the host to push back on Harris if she tried to duck tough questions.

But the host fired back, saying the interview would not be edited after it was pre-recorded just before the 6pm airtime.

“It will run as-Live – in its entirety,” Baier assured. “It was recorded because they gave us a time right before my show.”

“We plan to run it uninterrupted – and unedited,” he added.

The interview lasted less than 30 minutes after Baier revealed some rocky details about his interview, including her showing up late for their conversation.

Baier suggested it looked like the vice president’s team was “trying to freeze the kicker,” comparing it to a football team calling a timeout before a big field goal attempt.

Baier said members of Harris’ campaign frantically waved their arms as they tried to wrap up the pre-recorded interview.

“We were supposed to start at 5 p.m., this was the time they gave,” Baier explained of his interview with the Democratic presidential candidate.

“Originally we were going to do 25 or 30 minutes, but they came in and said ‘maybe 20.’ So it was already getting smaller.’
