Liberal media personalities were reeling over Donald Trump’s garbage truck stunt.
The co-hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe rushed the former president after he showed up to a rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday in a white garbage truck with his “Make America Great Again” slogan emblazoned on the side.
Trump’s stunt was a direct troll on Democrats who jumped to President Joe Biden’s defense after he called the former president’s supporters “trash.”
“The hypocrisy, Mika, about an incorrect statement from Joe Biden, which he quickly corrected, is so laughable,” Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough told co-host Mika Brzezinski during their Thursday morning broadcast. ‘Because this man [Trump] does this every day.’

He then started doing a high-pitched imitation of Fox News hosts when he continued, “And then you turn on Fox News and you get, ‘Oh, how can anyone do this.’ I’ve never seen this before from a pres –.”
The gaslighting never ends,” Scarborough claimed. ‘They really think their voters are that stupid. And it makes me sad for those voters that Donald Trump.”
The whole “garbage debacle” arose during Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe opened the meeting in downtown Manhattan with a routine in which he called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.”
The joke landed on Democratic politicians and the Hispanic community.
Biden bungled the administration’s response to the controversy by brushing aside the insult and calling Trump’s supporters “nonsense.”
“The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said during a phone call on Tuesday. “His-his-his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and un-American.”

The back and forth continued Wednesday when Trump showed up for his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin wearing a white garbage truck and an orange reflective vest over a white button-up.
The crisis about this spread to various media and left-wing media personalities.
CBS host Norah O’Donnell said on her show Monday that Hinchcliffe’s original comment was “despicable,” telling viewers, “Puerto Rico is an American island.” Let me say that again. Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.”
