Trump defends Kate Middleton over photoshop scandal and claims everyone ‘doctors’ images

Donald Trump has rushed to defend Kate Middleton, saying the controversy surrounding her Photoshop blunder “doesn’t have to be a problem.”

The former president, 77, added that the Princess of Wales is “in a difficult period” during her recovery from abdominal surgery and absence from royal duties, and insisted she would “be back”.

Kate has fallen victim to a mountain of conspiracy theories during her recovery and many have questioned her whereabouts.

Trump backed Kate amid the furor, saying “everyone is doctoring” pictures during an interview with Nigel Farage on GB News on Tuesday night.

“That shouldn’t be a problem because everyone is a doctor,” he told Farage.

“You look at these movie actors and you see a movie actor and you meet him, and you say, is that the same person in the picture?

“I actually looked at that and it was a very small doctor. I don’t understand why there is such a fuss about this.

It came as the hospital where Kate was treated was at the center of a major security scandal after staff tried to access her personal medical records.

Bosses at the London Clinic, where she underwent a planned abdominal operation in January, launched the investigation after it was alleged that at least one staff member had tried to access the royal family’s notes.

On Saturday, Kate was filmed laughing next to her husband during a visit to a farm shop in Windsor.

In the video, the princess can be seen with her hair down, wearing a black jacket and leggings, talking to William and carrying a large white bag.

The Windsor Farm Shop is a short drive from their home at Adelaide Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
