Trump ‘could be assassinated like JFK if he tries to end Putin’s war in Ukraine,’ Kremlin official warns

A senior Kremlin official has warned that a “tired” Donald Trump could face a JFK-style assassination if he “really tries” to end Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine should he emerge victorious in the US presidential election come.

The chilling warning came Sunday from Putin’s friend Dmitry Medvedev, former president of Russia and his country’s longest-serving prime minister, now deputy head of the Kremlin Security Council.

He also labeled US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris as “stupid” and “controllable” who, if president, would be “afraid of everyone around her.”

“For Russia, the elections will not change anything, as the positions of the candidates fully reflect the consensus of both parties on the need for our country to be defeated (in the war).

“Kamala is stupid, inexperienced, controllable and will fear everyone around her. A synod of the top ministers and aides will rule, plus indirectly the Obama family.”

Trump may face the same fate as John F. Kennedy in 1963, predicted Medvedev, who was president of Russia from 2008 to 2012.

“A tired Trump, who utters platitudes like ‘I’ll offer a deal’ and ‘I have a great relationship with…’ will also be forced to follow all the rules of the system.

‘He won’t be able to stop the war. Not in a day, not in three days, not in three months.

“And if he really tries, he could become the next JFK.”

President Kennedy was shot dead on November 22, 1963, in one of the world’s most infamous assassinations, as his open-top presidential motorcade thundered through downtown Dallas, Texas.

Medvedev – who a day earlier warned the West not to underestimate Putin’s willingness to use nuclear weapons – said the outcome of the election was of little importance.

“Only one thing matters: how much money the new POTUS will bring for someone else’s distant war – for his military-industrial complex and for the (Ukrainians) to cut up.

“Therefore, the best way to satisfy the candidates for America’s highest office on November 5 is to continue to destroy the Nazi regime in Kiev.”

The Kremlin has denied repeated accusations that it is trying to meddle in the US elections.

Using a derogatory Russian term for the US, he said: “The world is in awkward positions ahead of the presidential elections in overseas Pindostan.”

Medvedev is Putin’s deputy on Russia’s Security Council, a powerful Kremlin body responsible for formulating national security policies and coordinating their implementation.

He is also the first deputy chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission, which oversees Russia’s defense industry, and chairman of state giant Rostelecom, the country’s largest digital services provider.

On Saturday, Medvedev warned that Putin is prepared to use nuclear weapons and trigger World War III if provoked.

The West is mistaken in thinking he will “never cross a certain line,” the former president noted.

“If we talk about the existence of our state, as the president of our country has repeatedly said… we will simply have no choice,” Medvedev said.

The US and the West were ‘wrong’ to think that Putin would not cross the line if NATO tried to defeat Russia in the war in Ukraine.

“If the new (American) leader devotes his heart and soul to adding fuel to the fire of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, that will be a very bad choice.

‘Because this is the road to hell. It really is a road to World War III.

‘Whoever decides to continue the war will make a very dangerous mistake.

“You must be an absolute idiot.”

Medvedev’s statements came as EU officials held “crisis talks” to determine how the continent will fare if Donald Trump wins the presidential election.

Trump and Kamala Harris are neck and neck as they leave their hopes of winning the Oval Office to the American public, with FiveThirtyEight’s aggregated polling data suggesting Harris has a one-point lead, well within a margin of error.

After his fractured relationship with the EU during his time as 45th president, bloc officials have said privately they are deeply concerned about what he will do if elected.

Officials said they have drawn up plans to heavily tax products that symbolize America’s national identity, including Kentucky Bourbon and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, if Trump decides to be bullish on the EU on trade deals.

These products come from states vulnerable to unrest during the 2026 midterm elections, which bloc officials believe will pressure congressional representatives to work against Trump.
