Trump and Obama’s White House doctor, Republican Ronny Jackson, calls on Biden to take a cognitive test and PROVE to Americans that he is ‘fit to lead’ during his upcoming annual physical

Former White House physician Ronny Jackson calls on President Biden to ‘prove’ he is fit to serve as president by submitting to a cognitive test after the special counsel’s damning report on his handling of classified documents behind Biden’s bad memory’.

Jackson, a conservative Republican who currently represents Texas’ 13th District, served as a White House physician for both President Barack Obama and then President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Jackson, a close Trump ally, sent a fifth letter to President Biden, demanding he be “honest” about his physical and mental abilities and submit to a cognitive test.

“I think if there was ever a time when we needed a cognitive test for a sitting president of the United States, now is the time,” Jackson said at the Republican leadership press conference.

“If he thinks he’s fit to lead the country, prove it to us,” Jackson said.

Special counsel Robert Hur’s report on the president’s handling of classified documents described Biden as a “well-intentioned, older man with a poor memory.”

The letter comes after special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation determined that Biden would not face criminal charges for his handling of documents, but contained politically explosive descriptions of the 81-year-old president’s mental acuity.

The report concluded that if charges were brought, a jury might be sympathetic, as Biden comes across as a “well-meaning, older man with a poor memory.”

It was also claimed that Biden failed to remember major life events during his interview with the special counsel in October, including the end of his term as vice president and the death of his son Beau.

β€œIf you are cognitively incapable of standing trial or responding to charges against you, you are obviously cognitively incapable of being president, commander in chief and our head of state,” Jackson said.

Jackson has been examining whether Biden is fit to serve since he ran for president.

He has vowed to continue making the president’s mental acuity an issue in the future.

During the news conference, Jackson said he wants Biden to take a cognitive test similar to the one Trump, 77, took when he was president.

But White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, when asked about the test on Monday, claimed it was unnecessary and quoted White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

β€œThe president proves every day how he operates and thinks, by interacting with world leaders, by making tough decisions on behalf of the American people – whether it’s homeland or national security.”

‘That’s how Dr. O’Connor sees it, and that’s how I’m going to leave it,” she continued.

Republicans have seized on the special counsel’s descriptions of Biden’s memory and are making the president’s age and mental fitness a central issue ahead of the 2024 election.

This week, Republicans in the House of Representatives demanded that the Justice Department turn over the recordings of Hur’s interview with Biden.

DailyMail.com confirmed they are in talks with Hur to testify before Congress at the end of this month.

The three committee chairmen leading Biden’s impeachment inquiry threatened to subpoena the material if the DOJ did not turn it over within a week of the bombshell report being dropped.

β€œA man too incompetent to be held accountable for mishandling classified information is certainly unfit for the Oval Office,” Chairman Mike Johnson said Wednesday.
