Troubled Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards announces engagement to pregnant Amanda Conner (and his ex Maci Bookout approves)

Ryan Edwards popped the question to his pregnant girlfriend Amanda Conner.

The 37-year-old Teen Mom star went to work on Sunday Instagram to reveal that he and his now fiancée would soon be walking down the aisle by sharing a heartwarming clip from the romantic proposal.

It looked like the reality star got down on one knee during a winter family outing this weekend, surrounded by glittering slow ones and loved ones sitting around a campfire.

And it appears his eldest son, Bentley, 16 – who she shares with ex Maci Bookout – was also in attendance. The reality star also shares Jagger, 6, and Stella, 5, with his ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer.

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted a camera crew capturing the moment, indicating that the proposal may appear on the upcoming season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

Although their special conversation was not audible, Ryan added Cooper Alan’s romantic hit, Take Forever (Hally’s Song), above the video, showing the adoration he has for his bride-to-be.

His surprise announcement video was a hit with his 223,000 followers and fans flooded the comments with support and congratulations for the future spouses.

Another shouted: ‘Congratulations!! This is the Ryan so many of us knew he could be.”

And his ex Maci showed her support for the pair by slapping a like on the post.

The lovebirds’ engagement comes three months after they revealed they were expecting a girl – their first child together.

‘Ryan and I are very excited about our pregnancy. We’ve overcome so much in the last year and a half and we’re in a very happy, safe place,” Amanda told People at the time.

After sharing the news, she shared some of his hopes and expectations about becoming a father again.

“Honesty is one of my biggest things, honest about who you are, about who me and Ryan are, I want to be honest about that,” she said. ‘I don’t want to hide anything from her. I’m going to be very careful.’
